are the first floor rooms relatively quiet? We are bringing a 1 1/2 yr old that still naps in the day and sleeps around 9 at night?

The Rooms we saw around the Pool area were on the first floor, I can see where

they might be noisy if you get a large tour group. I would talk to the management they are pretty darn accommodating with these sort of things

Probably not, the indoor pool had rooms that open up to them & it is loud.

I have never stayed on the first floor which I am assuming is pool level? I think you should be fine with the noise though...the rooms are noise free. Also I think the pool level may be more convenient with a toddler. Enjoy your stay - the Princess is a beautiful place for vacation!
