We are looking at coming for a couple nights either in July or August mid week. Just read a review that said your pools are not heated even though your web site says they are. I would like to know the truth on this since I have been to Vegas in August before and the pool at the resort we stayed at was not heated at all and you couldn't swim in it due to the freezing temperature.
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your question! The pool is heated year-round. We hope to see you at the Golden Nugget soon!
The first day, we dipped our toes in and it was freezing! This was around 4pm and it was warm outside. The second day we found the water nice and warm, and swam at 10am when the pool opens (they don't allow you to swim until the life guards show up). I hope this helps!
Didn't get in the pool!
The pool was refreshing and definitely not too cold to swim in. We were there 2 weeks ago and I found the pool temp refreshing. Had to keep getting in and out to stay cool.
Sorry but I have not been in the pool. We live in FL and our pool temp generally reflects the time of the year, without a heater. When it's in the 90s here our pool gets to about 85 degrees, so I don't know why Vegas would be any different. But what I think is warm you may think of as cool. Why not just call the hotel?
We went in February so that was the first thing I asked... and yes, they're both heated. The hot tub was broken when we were there, hopefully it's working now.
My husband and I stayed the end of April and the pool was very warm. He enjoyed the water slide thru the shark tank. If you get there early there are these really great lounge chairs that actually sit out on a ledge in the pool which looked wonderful. (We didn't get there early lol). Ordered a couple drinks at the pool bar and didn't pay attention until we got the bill and they were $10 each... be careful!
I couldn't honestly tell you if the pool was heated, I didn't think to ask, but I can tell you that we swam in it while we were there the last week in April and the water temperature was comfortable for us. The pool area was pretty much jam packed with people during most of the daylight hours the entire four days we were there. If you have never been there, it is quite a beautiful swimming pool with a very big water slide built in to it. The slide is actually made so that it goes right through a HUGE fish tank built right next to the pool. It's a big clear tube so you can see EVERYTHING in the tank as you slide through it. The adults and children there alike seemed to love it!
