I have booked a 10 night stay in this hotel for my partner and I. My grandmother and her brother (70, and 74 respectively) are also coming with us and staying at Flamingo. It will be their first time in Vegas. We booked our trip through Virgin holidays and are staying in a Fab Deluxe room.
I thought the Fab Deluxe rooms were the newly renovated rooms, but on phoning the hotel I have been advised that these rooms were last renovated in 2011 and the Go rooms are actually the newly renovated rooms.
On reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and other sites, I am now concerned about the complaints that keep popping up. Such as the hotel being unclean, dirty carpets and very outdated decor. I have sold this hotel to my grandmother based on the room pics on the website, however the google image search paints a very different picture. It costs a lot to upgrade, to the point where it would be the same price as changing our hotel to somewhere like Planet Hollywood.
Can anyone clarify if Fab rooms are worth staying in?
