Farnborough, United Kingdom

What are the facilities for using the spa for the day. Is it a day for piece and quiet. With all facilities available and no restrictions.

Thanks

There is a pool area which isn’t particularly bit and if you want a relaxing environment where you can lounge by the water then it’s not for you. It was quite loud with lots of children when I went which wasn’t what I was looking for. Spa treatments you HAVE to book in advance!!

I recently went for a spa weekend with my family. The spa staff were very nice and I was very happy with my massage and manicure. However the rest of facilities let it down. Pool nice size, lots of chlorine so wear goggles! The steam room and sauna were small. Not much space around pool to chill on beds/chairs. Relaxation room is more a waiting room really.

The hotel caters for wedding parties and there was a wedding on Friday and Saturday, which meant very little tranquility and lack of parking was a huge issue. I have been to far superior spa hotels and enjoyed the relaxation I was looking for, at less cost. I would not recommend the spa as a place to stay all day.

As a hotel guest you have free access to the pool and the gym. Treatments you obviously have to book and pay for. It was quiet when we went.

There are many restrictions due to the limited availability of facilities and staff. We booked what was sold by the hotel as a Spa weekend but the Spa is separate from the hotel and was already fully booked. Those using the Spa seemed happy enough but you do need to book separately from the hotel (which is drab).

When I was there, there was a hen do there, and there was not enough seats around the pool... you can go into the relax area after treatments only.... I was disappointed!!!

There is a pool, with a sauna and steam room. There are treatment rooms for massages etc, as well as a chill out room with tea and magazines, reclining chairs etc. There is a gym too. That is all I could see. Change rooms with lockers, showers, hairdryers.

We stayed with all the family and only used the pool, I'm sorry, I can't answer about the Spa. I have to say, it didn't look terribly well organised and some of the reviews of the spa on here are not encouraging. But the pool is good!
