Also, what are the best tours to do with a 6 and 3 year old?
Our kids are 1, 2, and 4. They enjoy Colonial Williamsburg a lot but we don't pay for a pass at their ages. You can't go into the Governors Mansion and stuff but they like the stocks and all that.
There is a really fantastic play ground that is very worth going to. It's called Mid County Park. It's a recreation of Jamestown and has a ship and a zip line that my 2 year old can do and my husband can ride also. Very fun.
I'm not sure, my kids are 13 and 10 and they loved Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg.
Agree with the suggestions regarding Busch Gardens and Water Country. My kids are older, so we did Williamsburg, etc. and younger kids would definitely be bored. We did the Schooner sail out of Yorktown, but not the Pirate Cruise. The Ghost Tours would be too scary for younger kids. There are some good mini golf places that you can do with the 6-year old.
There is a great section for smaller children at Water Country USA - Kritter Korral. Busch Gardens has a Sesame Street area - we didn't go in but I'm sure your children would love it - BG has lots of great shows and music and of course food from all of the different countries.
They might be bored at Jamestown and Williamsburg. Not a lot for kids to do. I think they have a Pirate Ship ride at Yorktown. They also have a little beach on the river.
Kids would probably enjoy Busch Gardens and Water Country USA.
