Westmark Fairbanks Hotel and Conference Center Questions & Answers

We have reservations for 8/24/2014 (confirmation number LLDDC9) but our flight arrives on Monday 8/25 at 1:52 am. Since I already paid for the room I would like to know if they would hold it until the 25 at 1:52 am.

What about the hotel shuttle, is it possible for them to pick us up at the airport on the 25th at 1:52 am. It is an Alaska Airlines flight 127.

We will of course hold your room for you. There is a comment on your reservation that says you will be checking in late, so it is all set.

As far as the shuttle goes, it is not the Westmark's hotel shuttle. It is operated by Holland America-Princess and should still be running at that time. When you get off the plane and enter the baggage claim area you will see Holland America-Princess representatives holding signs. Just let them know you are there and they will arrange for you to be on the next transfer.

This is a full service hotel. They do have shuttles, not sure if it runs all night though. Taxi's are everywhere. The airport is only about 10 minutes away from the hotel.

I believe a call to the hotel is all that would be necessary. Call the front desk. That is your best place to ask all the questions.

We arrived at the hotel just after 1 am with a similar reservation. Most flights arrive late and this is common. However, give them a call just to confirm the late arrival. There is no shuttle, but there is a taxi. It probably isn't too expensive as it is not that far away.

Since you have already paid for the room they would definitely hold it for you but you should give them a call so they will note it as "guaranteed for late arrival.

The shuttle service is limited and would not be available at that time of the night. You would need to grab a taxi at the airport; Greatland Taxi would be a good choice to call; 907-490-2405. Call ahead for a taxi reservation.

We booked through Holland America cruise lines and they took care of all transportation. I am not sure of what type of shuttles they have other than the cruise buses. However they were so great to work with I am sure if you call them they will work with you to get it figured out
