TUI BLUE Flamingo Beach Questions & Answers

London

Making up baby's bottle.

Is it safe to use the (boiled) tap water or do you suggest to bring the ready made cartons from the UK? I assume boiling bottled water is a no no.

Thanks!

Hi, I was advised by my health visitor not to use tap water abroad for any child but to buy bottled water with the lowest mineral content which I found to be Evian. I just filled my travel kettle up with a bottle of that every morning. The hotel does provide a kettle but because my son was so young i wanted to use a new one because of lime scale. I just took 2 tubs of formula with me as I've never used the pre made bottles. Hope this helps!

We used Bottled water from the shop and took a few pre made cartons to take out. Also used bottled water to wash bottles as tap water left a funny smell

I always use bottled water without gas. It is rather cheap, clean and tastes good. Since Lanzarote doesn't have fresh water natural they have a shortage of it. Most water is cleaned saltwater and not suitable for drinking. I am not shure wether there are termostable bacterias in the water.
