Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort Questions & Answers

Dublin, Ireland

Hi I have booked this hotel for may and really can't wait for a long awaited break with my partner . The reviews look amazing however I just want to query about dress code. I have read reviews where people are complaining about people wearing jeans and others being turned away from dining as a result of wearing jeans even with a smart shirt. We really want to go and totally relax and be ourselves. Can anyone shed light on the dress code for the entire complex as in communal areas , dining, bars and pool? It says smart casual so I'm a little confused and want to know what to expect. Thank you

There is a notice at buffet entrance saying no polo shirts or shorts for dinner. Although I did see several men wearing polo shirts and jeans without causing issue.

I had shorts and polo shirt on for breakfast as did many people.

I suspect the Ala Cart restaurant (|El Faro) might require formal shirt - again I was OK with short sleeve shirt.

Jeans were worn every night but as you say with a smart shirt. You could always clarify this with an email to the hotel or call them.

We have been in the Hotel twice. The dress code is casual and no one was complaining that we were wearing jeans and T-shirts for breakfast and dinner. What you should avoid is to go with short pants and inadequate clothes. Best regards and enjoy the excellent service and the fantastic food. Ernst

We’ve been to this hotel 9 times and I don’t recall anyone being turned away ext so I think you’ll be fine wearing casual clothes. However quite a few people wear rather smart clothing (including us!) it’s always better to be over dressed than underdressed- have a lovely time!

The dress code is smart casual, very relaxed during the day, shorts t-shirts, bikini cover ups for lunch etc. Evening we wore jeans and smart tops/shirts , I also wore dresses and skirts, its a nice hotel with lovely surroundings and smart restaurants.
