I was wondering if there was good snorkeling right off the beach by this resort? Hopefully some reef. Also hoping for some information on couples massages.
Sign up for the snorkeling excursion, it's so worth it. It's at the Dressel Divers hut at the end of Rose Hall Beach. They take you out into the sea and you snorkel with a guide and feed the fish, hold a sand dollar/ sea urchin. It was great. It was about $35 USD I believe.
Thanks those both help a lot. I've been to Mexico several times at all inclusive properties, but have heard very good things about this property so I thought we would give it a shot. We are planning on going in April is that a good travel time to Jamaica?
Snorkeling right off the beach was that great but I been snorkeling a lot of places. There isn't any real reefs in that area real close to the beach unless you swim really far or take a dive tour. When you get further west like Rose Hall you can find a little more. As for the massage we called ahead of time to get more details it was really relaxing plus check with your butler or concierge depending on what part of the resort your staying in. Both the them really made our trip awesome. When we talked them they set it up for us and it was a great deal. Best advice that works for us when travel you become buddies with the ones are helping you the most like our butler, the cooks, concierge and the pool wait staff. A few times the cooks made us items that were not on the menu. Concierge set us up with a taxi guy which we got him card and used him every time and gave us a great deal. Hope this helps.
1) massage-- did not use the spa so can not answer-- except to say, if like everything else, it will be good
2) Snorkeling, did not see many doing it off of the Grand, but there were quite a lot of snorkelers off the sister property next door.
