Hi John,

To enter for dinner to the Restaurant Hotel, you have to wear dress shorts (no beach shorts) and trousers. Thank you.

In reply to your question, you are requested to wear trousers whilst in the restaurant especially during the evening mealtimes. At breakfast is seems that shorts are accepted, however the staff should remind clients that during the evening meal time, clients should wear trousers. Unfortunately, duing recent years, standards have dropped by the Cala Nova management who have allowed the wearing of shorts and beach clothing. The Restaurant staff are at fault for falling standards.. The Palladium Group make the standard and have failed to impose the set standard.

Hi Bel

Thankyou for letting me Know, its been a wee while since we went Half Board.

My wife and I normally go self catering, but wanted a change.

Counting down the days now before we go.

Hi John,

Have just come back yesterday from a week at the Cala Nova & smart shorts would be absolutely fine. My husband took a pair of trousers (just in case) however they never left the wardrobe.

As long as your not wearing swimming shorts in the evening you'll be okay.

Enjoy your holiday. :)
