For more shopping options you should also visit Old San Juan where there are an immense choice of shops with a wide variety of wares. There is a local free trolley so you can beat the heat and humidity while you explore the markets. For local cuisine you have so many choices that you would have to make another trip to try everything in this huge city. There are magnificent seafood dishes and a variety of Spanish dishes as well as international foods on offer and there are just as many bars and clubs to enjoy, as there are restaurants. All in all it is best to research the different districts to plan your evening.
