Getting to Exeter couldn't be easier; Exeter has its own international airport just 20 minutes from the city centre where there are domestic low budget flights and some direct international flights to Exeter. Exeter also has two mainline train stations, Exeter Central station and Exeter Central station which link the city to the rest of the UK. 

By road, the National Express coach service operates from hundreds of different places across the UK to Exeter. The two main junctions, (30 and 31) off the M5 motorway mean that private drivers can get to the city easily from the rest of the UK.

There are also local trains operating within the Southwest of England meaning visitors can travel around Devon as well as neighbouring towns. Exeter also has a ten-pin bowling centre, the Exeter Phoenix arts centre and Westpoint - an entertainment complex used for concerts, shows and other events throughout the year.

When it comes to shopping, Exeter has shops to suit every taste; the high street is the main shopping street but other places to shop include the revamped Princesshay area, Harlequins and the Guildhall shopping centres to name a few.
