Arriving in Brussels

Many airlines offer cheap flights to Brussels. Brussels Airport is also known as Zaventem or Brussels National. Brussels South Charleroi Airport hosts airlines such as Ryanair and Wizzair. This airport is located south of Brussels and is about one hour away from the city centre. A shuttle bus service runs from South Charleroi every 30 minutes, it is best to purchase a ticket for this service online as waiting in a queue to purchase a ticket could take at least 40 minutes. A TEC bus service is also available to transport passengers of Charleroi to a train station.

Getting Around Brussels

A train service runs every 15 minutes from the airport to Brussels. Buses 12 and 21 also provide transport from the airport every 20 to 30 minutes. Brussels has three train stations, namely: Midi-Zuid, Central-Centraal and Nord-Noord. High speed trains such as Thalys and the ICE only stop at Midi-Zuid and connect Brussels with Cologne, Paris and Amsterdam. If travelling by bus you will be able to use Eurolines, De Lijn and TEC. The city also offers affordable short-term Villo rentals and bike tours, which allow you to discover the city in four hours. Flights to Brussels are affordable and worth the purchase.
