Arriving in Sacramento

As the capital city of California, Sacramento boasts much more than politics and government. Located in the Central Valley, Sacramento is the sixth largest city in California. Upon arrival on Sacramento flights, you will land at the Sacramento International airport. Terminals A and B, together, feature 26 gates as well as shopping and dining facilities.

Once you claim your baggage, you will find that all airport rental car agencies are located in a separate central terminal. For visitors, there are airport shuttle buses that will conveniently take all rental car customers from either terminal A or B to the rental car terminal. Shuttle stops are marked with a blue sign with a key. There are also taxis, public transportation (Yolobus), and car services that offer daily rides to the downtown area and neighbourhoods of Sacramento.
