Arriving in Denver

Denver, Colorado has two major airports but if you are taking a cheap flight to Denver, you will most likely land in Denver International Airport. Their motto is ‘together we soar'. There you will be able to exchange currency, grab a meal, or even charge your mobile device at the battery charging station. To travel from the airport you have a choice of buses, taxis, rental cars, or luxury limousines if you have arranged for them in advance. Certain hotels and ski resorts have shuttles to and from the airport.

Getting Around in Denver

Like most American cities, Denver is mostly a car city. Downtown attractions can be reached on foot. Public transportation is not really adequate for getting around. Taxis are available but can be expensive, especially if you're going to and from the surrounding areas. The best bet is to rent a car and drive. There are no less than twelve rental car companies represented at the airport, among them Avis and Hertz.
