  • 1. North Conway NH, great place for a weekend getaway

Lots to do for all ages. Hikers will of course want to visit the mountains. For those with small children Diana's bath is a short hike to beautiful falls - easy and quick. Head to Cathedral Ledge by car and drive to the top. Watch the cliff climbers come over the edge and see a beautiful view of the valley. Visit Zeb's Country Store and the other shops nearby and then head for Settler's Green and the outlets as you drive by the LL Bean outlet! Try Delaney's, or the Red Parka Pub. For a bit more upscale experience try Thompsons in Jackson, The Inn at Crystal Lake in Eaton, or the Snowvillage Inn in Snowvillage (a gardeners delight).
Parents and grandparents will want to take the little ones to Storyland a perfect day of fun geared to those 12 and under. Miniature golf in North Conway is right on the Rt. 16 strip and lots of fun.
Beer drinkers will want to visit the Moat Mountain Brewery for some good barbeque and beer.
Lots to do for a weekend or a week in a beautiful area. Drive the Kangamangus to Lincoln for more fun. Stop and take a dip in the water along the way. Rent a canoe or kayak and travel on the Saco. SKi in the winter.Enjoy all that nature has to offer. If you want to bring your pet be sure to visit "Four Paws Only" and stay at the Lazy Days Inn in Chochura....very dog friendly.

  • 2. Storyland

Storyland is unique in that it does not offer big thrill rides and instead concentrates on rides and shows for the younger set. It's a fun way to spend part of a day or a whole day with those under 12.

  • 3. The MET

The MET is an art gallery, coffee house, and great place to have a wonderful dessert with a special tea or coffee. Beautiful old building in No Conway on Main Street near all the shops, park and No Conway Scenic Railway

  • 4. North Conway Scenic Railway

A great trip for all ages. I suggest the longer route to Bretton Woods and a beautiful view of the Mount Washington area.
