Leave the coast and see the REAL Spain

  • 1. Seville
    Seville, Province of Seville

The route from any point on the Costa del Sol to Seville is a true feast for the senses.
Leave the coast at Marbella and head for Ronda via Coín. Pass though Yunquera (one of the Pueblo Blancos (white villages)) and stop to sample a deliciously simple country breakfast of a tostada (toast, olive oil, garlic and tomatoes) at a local venta (inn). After Yunquera head into the mountains and some of the most spectacular views in Europe - see the eagles gracefully gliding through the skies, wild mountain goats perching precariously on a jagged ledge, maybe a young deer slipping into the safety of the forest. In Ronda you will see the bridge over the deepgorge where so many have perished and the historic bullring. Continue to Seville through vast fragent sunflower carpeted fields. Maybe pause to taste some delicate and suculent serrano ham. Seville is wonderful - the moorish palace, the cathedral with Christopher Columbus´ tomb and tower that worth the climb for the city panorama.
So much to recommend and so little space - you must see for yourselves...!

  • 2. Ronda
    Ronda, Costa del Sol

  • 3. Arcos de la Frontera
Arcos de la Frontera, Costa de la Luz
