The Ultimate Early Spring Day at Myrtle Beach

23 Mar 2009  Two stressed out Atlantans seeking an early season get-away
4.5 of 5 stars based on 1 vote

This is a day guaranteed to create wonderfully relaxing memories for a couple. Myrtle Beach is known for having a ton of attractions for families and spring breakers, but we wanted to mix things up a little.

We had enjoyed our big day at the beach at our hotel on the warmest day. On this cooler day, we wanted to find something natural and more secluded. Grab a sweater, roll up your jeans, put your toes in the sand and enjoy a picnic on the beach with the backdrop of magnificent sand dunes, costal forest and gentle sounds of the surf. These memories are sure to get you through those stressful days at the office.

According to their website, this is the largest gift shop on the Grand Strand. Some locals referred us to this spot which is right in the heart of Myrtle Beach and probably has items that appeared on the shelves in the 1960's! Browsing the nooks and crannies of the store will most certainly take you back to your very first family beach vacations.

The perfect meal to end a perfect day. The food is so authentic you can taste the love, care and heritage passed down from Mama Lucia. Enjoy a relaxing bottle of wine, be entertained by the accordion player and soak in the ambiance that has long since disappeared from chain restaurants. This wonderful food not only nourishes your body, but will feed your soul.
