Cincinnati is the perfect place for families, singles and people of all ages, cultures & interests. With Kentucky right across the river you are gauranteed NEVER to get bored.

  • Appeals to: Business travellers , Couples/romantics, Singles, Families with small children, Families with teenagers, Large groups, Budget travellers , Tourists

  • 1. The Westin Cincinnati

Two words - HEAVENLY BED! Seriously, this is a great hotel in a great location overlooking Cincinnati's famous Fountain Square. It's conveniently located. Did I mention the Starbuck's that's a block away?

  • 2. Bar Louie

Located at Newport on the Levee, this is a great bar serving good food and even better martini's (the raspberry dream is awesome). Looking to stay up late? They're open until 2am.

  • 3. Palomino Euro Bistro

Palomino is a great place for lunch or dinner. The Chop Chop salad is highly recommended along with any special they have. Macy's is about 100 meters away so when you are done eating burn a few calories shopping! Psst! Ladies...Tiffany's is just below Palomino too and these carats are calorie free!

  • 4. Dewey's Pizza

A great family friendly pizza place located at Newport on the Levee. They've got the best house salad and cleverly named pizzas that will leave your mouth watering when you think back to your visit. The Edgar Allen Poe is my all time favorite.

  • 5. Newport on the Levee

Newport on the Levee is located in Newport, Kentucky. This is literally right across the bridge from downtown. With shops, an AMC Movie Theatre and the Newport Aquarium your bound to find something to do on a rainy day or a sunny one!

  • 6. Hofbrauhaus Newport

There's only one other Hofbrauhaus in the world....and that's in GERMANY. We are still wondering how Newport, Kentucky get so darn lucky! This is a must see. The beer gardens are great place to hang out, drink a beer and do a little dancing. Chicken dancing that is.

  • 7. Contemporary Arts Center

What the Guggenheim is to New York, so is the Contemporary Arts Center to Cincinnati.

  • 8. National Underground Railroad Freedom Center

Visit the Freedom Center and experience our past, our present, our future

  • 9. Cincinnati Art Museum

For you artsy types you simply cannot come to Cincinnati and NOT visit the Cincinnati Art Museum OR the Contemporary Arts Center. Add these two attractions to you 'to-do' list.

  • 10. Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal

If you have a free day with the kids you must take them to the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal. They'll love you for it!

  • 11. Skyline Chili

This is why Nick Lachey keeps coming back to Cincinnati. I can't explain the love that true Cincinnatians have for this stuff. I personally love it (and I'm originally from NYC). Try it. I bet you'll like it! Oh yeah...sit at the counter. It has this great cozy old time diner feel, you get super service and you can watch the 'chef' work his magic with a hot dog and some chili.

  • 12. Montgomery Inn at the Boathouse

THE WORLD'S GREATEST RIBS. Their website says it all. As an added bonus, they serve black raspberry chip ice cream...FROM GRAETER'S.

  • 13. Graeter's Ice Cream

If Oprah eats it you know this stuff is good. Although the downtown location recently closed its' doors (I'm still in shock but my support group has been great), there are several other Cincinnati locations for you to visit. If you simply can't squeeze this into your trip, get it delivered. You'll never look at ice cream the same way again.

  • 14. Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame at Great American Ballpark

If you happen to be in town during baseball season a trip to Great American Ballpark is in order. Tickets aren't cheap but they aren't sky high either. Take advantage of the bleacher section. It's a great way to see the game and the seats are perfect! Don't forget to stroll through the Reds Hall of Fame while you are there. On game day you can get in for $5 with your same day ticket stub.

  • 15. Sunday Brunch at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Palm Court

Sunday brunch at the Hilton is a must do! It's pricey but you'll want to end your wonderful weekend in Cincinnati on a high note. And think about it, you probably won't eat again for the rest of the day!
