Some of the many great times we always have revolve around friends and family and the great beach days we share together.

  • 1. Playa Condesa
    Playa Condesa, Acapulco

For those visiting the Fiesta Americana Villas this one is right in your own backyard. There are water sports from Para sailing, Wave runners, Banana boats and just boat rentals right here on the beach.

You can eat and drink with either the hotel staff or the other establishments that run the operations on the beach here. The prices are reasonable here but higher then other parts of the city. A very good beach atmosphere.

The restaurants Paradise and Beto's are a short walk from the Fiesta on the beach and have palapas to relax under and to be served there as well.

  • 2. El Morrito on Playa Hornitos

Beachfront reastaurant just west of the Emporio hotel and on a side street just off the Costera from the Park hotel. A very affordable spot and popular amongst the cities many long time visitors.

Ice cold cervesa served not only in buckets but in coolers for those in larger groups. Cervesa averages less then 2 USD per for Corona and Pacifico. Not very hard to find places like this in Acapulco fortunately. They have fresh seafood dishes and good Mexican options as well.

  • 3. Bocana Beach on Playa Hornos

Located across from Parque Papagayo and next too the large Mexican flag this beachfront restaurant is one we enjoy a lot and will visit a few times every trip. It offers what most of the others serve as well at very inexpensive prices. Cervesa can be bought by the bucket or 2-4-1 .
The food here is really good and there is always a great crowd no matter what day of the week it is. Live entertainment on the weekends or a Dj. This is a very good beach to swim at as the water is extremely calm in this area of the bay unlike at Condesa. There is plenty of shade here for those who like it. Just a great toes in the sand beach like may others in the city.

  • 4. La Cabana on Playa Caleta

A very popular beach spot for long time visitors especially snowbirds who frequent this area of town. Very fresh seafood dishes and unique appetizers as well.

Playa Caleta is very calm almost like a pool as the open ocean does not move the water here much. The beach is protected by Roquetta Island and many fishermen prefer to dock there boats here.

A very popular local spot with many families prefering this beach for their children.

  • 5. VAYMA (Pie de la Cuesta)
    Vayma, Acapulco

Another beachfront property about 30 minutes outside of the city. If you are staying for at least a week in the city this is worth the visit. About an hour from those in Diamante area or Grand Mayan.

The ocean on 1 side the lagoon the other and the sierra madre moutains as the backdrop. It is just a very scenic area. Coyuca lagoon can be explored by renting a boat at Tres Marias opposite Vayma or Chuy's ski club.

Not a budget spot at all but a very relaxing day trip with good eats at Tres Marias and a nice pool just off the beach at Hacienda Vayma just across the street. Just a note the ocean is too rough to swim here so don't try!!! No credit cards in pie de la cuesta either.
