This park is full of spectacular scenery. The hiking is great with a choice of easy or difficult places. This park has the only working fruit orchard in a National Park. There are Indian Petroglyphs, old homes, a great visitor center and wonderful campgrounds.
A quaint little town (about 200 population) nestled between Thousand Lakes Mountain, and Boulder Mountain. Just 10 miles from the Capitol Reef National Park Visitor Center. There are several motels, bed and breakfast inns, and resturants that are unbelievable for a small town. We are also very friendly here.
