Took the train from Glasgow for a day in Stirling. Rode the tour bus that drops you off at various sites and you can get off and back on wherever you wish. The main problem is that it only runs until around 5pm, although the sun doesn't set until around 10pm at that time of the year. It rained a bit and we were on the top of an open-top bus, but it stopped after awhile. We found the rain came and went the whole time we were in Scotland (one week).

Visited Stirling Castle, saw the Wallace Monument, and went to some shops near the train station, including Europa Music, where we bought some CD's (we're all really into music). We really enjoyed Stirling, as it's not too big to get around easily, and has lots of great sites.
