I like to travel extensively and explore. There is nothing better than going on a discovery trip. I also eat out a lot over a wide ranging set of venues. Always happy to try anything new.

Best place to stay, highend designer shopping and for dining out.
Respectful and tranquil memorial to the British and Commonwealth fallen.
Fantastic restaurant with great food. You can also sample Berliner Weiss here (Green or Red).
Iconic burgers and another HRC to rival all those others around the world.
Must visit site from the 1936 Olympic Games. The stadium has been refurbished recently for the 2006 World Cup but still retains the historical feel.
This site captures the very essence of Belrin. Iconic gate that truly is East meets West.
A fantastic restaurant that has something for everyone. Real authentic German cuisine and at very reasonable prices. Servings are really generous too.
The very centre of what used to be East Berlin prior to 1989. You can always take a trip up the TV Tower for @13 Euros. There is always a sizeable queue for this though.
A great way of getting around and seeing the city. For a nominal fee of 20 Euros this represents great VFM.
Part of the historical Olympic Stadium district with excellent affordable prices.
If you wish to learn about the Berlin Wall this is simply a must.
You can always enjoy a quiet beer here. Bitte ein Bit!
The very heart of what is Berlin. This is akin to Coventry Cathederal and is the only building remaining from 1945 in this area that was totally destroyed by the allied bombing.
You would have to go a very long way to match the breakfast here. Slap bang in the centre of the Kufurstendamm a 4 star hotel that could easily be 5 star.
A fantastic department store over 6 or 7 floors which in my opinion is better than Harrods.
A little dated and tired around the edges now, but still home to the Irish Pub.
This is simply what a visit to Berlin is all about. You must go and see what it was like before November 1989 when the wall came down.
Ultra modern district around Potsmamer Platz. I believe this is about the fourth iteration of development on this site since thw wall came down in 1989.
The old East German TV Tower is now now the centre point of Alexander Platz.
Not what it once was but still very much worth a visit.
The avenue Under the Limes - synominous with Berlin and there is a feeling of history here.
Berlin is a City afterall and this gem is located in what used to be the former East Berlin.
Part of Museum Island district in what used to be the former East Berlin.
You will be amazed at the scale of this modern new transport hub and how it was constructed.
An aray of Museums will greet you and there is currently a lto of construction ongoing in this area.
One of the greatest examples of an Urban Zoo anywhere in the world.
This is the district that was the centre of the former East Berlin. Berlin is truly a city with two City Centres - so a visit to Die Mitte is a must.
A World acclaimed orchestra and culturally regarded in the highest of regard.
The Vicotry Column is in the middle of Bismark Strasse, 17 Juni Strasse and the Tier Garten.
This has simply got to be the very centre of all things related to Berlin and depicts the very history of this city.
A fun attraction that can be very enjoyable if not a little expensive.
Always worth a visit to extend that shopping experience.
