Here you will find the metronome which was created in 1991 after the fall of communism, in which it replaced a large statue of Stalin which stood in its place since 1962. The metronome symbolizes the time passing since the fall of communism.

If you want to live the true life of a local in Prague then head over to the Riegrovy sady park in Prague where you will have the view of the castle in front of you while enjoying the lovely summer sun with a beer in hand. If you like to relax and enjoy the company of your friends, spending the whole afternoon here won't be a problem.

The "secret" best view of Prague, Vysehrad is one of the rarer things to see on a tourist itinerary, but it should be moved to one of the top because it has an amazing beautiful church, a beautiful park surrounding it and a breath taking view of Prague. Before reaching the church you will have to walk through the castle walls and into a park which has cafes and places to eat, a great afternoon can be filled with a trip to Vysehrad.

This is one of the best luxury burgers you will have in your life. If your a foodie, or just a burger lover, Palanda is a must eat when traveling to Prague. It is in the center behind the Palladium mall, therefore it is easy to fit into your schedule. The prices are around 200kc for a burger and for a Czech this is quite expensive, but for tourists its a very chea meal compared to abroad.

When touring the center of Prague Las Adelitas is a must try. After being in Prague for a few days Czech food becomes way too filling and this is where Las Adelitas comes in. They serve very authentic Mexican food and margaritas, with a great Mexican atmosphere. It is located right off Old Town Square near Hard Rock Cafe and it is under ground so you must look for the sign.

For the Italian food lover this is the place to go, I had one of my best meals of my life here. The pizza is freshly made and everything is delicious, including the wide variety of desserts. The staff are Italian and extra friendly, enjoy a nice quiet lunch or dinner here. The price is on the upper side for Czech standards, but still reasonably priced.

If you want the true taste of Czech food infused with a little bit of beer the "beer house" is the place to go. Reasonably priced compared to the Czech restaurants in the exact center, here you will get goulash and many other dishes made with their homemade beer.

A typical Czech pub with a twist, not only will you get any cocktail you want for a ridiculously cheap price, there is a great chance that you will get lost in this bar. Most of the bar is completely underground and connected by tunnels, for a first timer it is always confusing and overwhelming. It's a great place to sit down and have a beer with friends and even meet new people and challenge them to a game of foosball. Usually isn't too loud, but it can be very smokey.

Most tourists who come to Prague want to try the true Czech beer, and at the Beer Museum you will get exactly what you wished for. Not only will you get the try the typical Czech beer Pilsner Urquel, but you will also get to try beer from smaller breweries around the country and also the Beer Museum's hoe brew. Prices are dirt cheap, and you could easily spend hours at the bar enjoying the different tastes they have to offer as well as the garden during the day.

If you want to have a few quiet drinks before going out, Tretter's is the place to go as it is right next to the clubs. But even though it is right next to them the atmosphere is completely different. Tretter's is a very classy, New York themed bar where the cocktails will be made with extra care, it is on the higher price side but it definitely worth it.

Here you will hear hard rock music all night long, with amazing bartenders to make you delicious cocktails. A great place for partying in the center and meet up with lots of english speaking people.
