This restaurant features mostly fresh fried seafood. It is located in Little Havana and would make a good lunch spot during your visit.

    Good for
    • Foodie
    Tips
    • Casual environment. Try the fried camarones (Shrimp) and a whole fried fish. Hog fish is the best when available. Finish off your meal by having a cuban cafe (coffee) or cortadito next door at the market which has a window in the front for ordering coffee.

This is a lovely place if you want to slow down the pace and is a good fit for a mid week activity. I wouldnt spend time here during the weekend when there is so mich else to see. It is located near Coconut Grove and Key Biscayne and has nice views of Biscayne Bay.

    • After this I would visit Coconut Grove or Key Biscayne. In Key Biscayne, drive all the way down and have lunch or dinner at Boaters Grill which is right on the water and you can see the boats coming in and out. If you go to the "Grove", you can eat at Scottys Landing which is also right on the water behind a marina. Then you can watch a movie at Cocowalk (cinopolis) which is a high end theater where you can reserve your seats.

This place is loved by tourists and locals alike. It is open air shopping mall / entertainment venue. It is kind of dead during the week. But on the weekend, it is full of life and live salsa music. You can shop, eat, and go on a dinner/day boat cruise from here. I love to come here with my kids because they also have some rides for little ones.

The best time to visit is on the last Friday of the month at night to experience "Viernes Culturales". Lots of fun walking down calle ocho and seeing the art museums, street vendors, etc. If you want to party, Ball and Chain is excellent. Try some cuban coffee and/or Cuban Food at "El Pub". Little Havana is dead during the day. You are better off seeing the beaches, Key Biscayne, Shopping etc. during the day.

Wynwood, Midtown and Design District are all relatively new, hip, artsy and trendy areas of Miami. The best time to visit would on on the 2nd Saturday night of the month for art walk. Absolutely packed with people partying, visiting galleries, etc.. There are new places constantly opening so I would check Tripadvisor for particulars. My favorite restaurant in this area is Michaels Genuine for a meal or brunch.

You can eat at Scotty Landing (waterside), Monty's (waterside), Bouchon Du Grove (French), Green Street (favorite Sunday brunch spot for locals) and of course there is a Cheesecake Factory!

There is a nice open air mall with a theater and bowling alley called Sunset Place. There are some nice restauarants around as well. Some if the hippest is Town (great for happy hour) and Georges (brunch). For nightlife, there is a cool place that locals go to called Bougainvilleas.

This is what people think of when then think of Miami. Fun, Fun, Fun!! So much to do and see. Drinks at Mangos, Clevelander, Wet Willys. Dinner at Prime 112, Smith and Wollensky (waterside), Juvia, Montys (waterside), Grazies, Nobu. Walk down, shop, watch a movie and have lunch or Dinner on Lincoln Road which is similar to Las Ramblas in Barcelona. My favorite Hotel to party is the Catalina or SLS. Luxury Hotel is the Delano, W, Setai. When you are going to hit the Sand, most of the locals go to the beach on 7th St. Have a drink at Wet Willys before or after.
