I have a fantastic experience here. I spent two nights here. The staffs here are high polite. The room is tiny and big . The breakfast is impressive. They offer us thirty minutes free spa.the location is perfect as it is near the bar and temples. I like there .

We stayed here on our honeymoon and I must say every single employee who spoke to us or helped us was fantastic, huge smile.
The room was comfortable, the pool pleasant, bar and restaurant had nice good and drinks.
Is definitely go back. (Only thing I would have liked is a second room key but that's no big deal).

+1
The hotel is fantastic, from the complimentary airport pickup, to all the staff, the spa, restaurant and pool.
You are always greeted with a smile, nothing is too much trouble.
The rooms are big, and we had a garden facing patio. Beds are slightly hard but we are used to soft western mattresses.
The food is good quality, the pool bar is a nice addition and the pool is very calm and not rowdy at all.
Prices are good and it is a 5 min tuk tuk to the center.
We loved Siem Reap. We will return and will stay here again. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed at this new hotel for 3 nights and we loved it!
Their staff were friendly and helpful! I had an incident where I lost my phone at a resort where I signed up for an activity. The staff helped me to call the resort and got me on a tuk tuk to get my phone back (phew!). They later called that evening to make sure I came back to the hotel safely. Their assistant sales manger was super helpful and nice every time we had a question.
Our room was spacious and kept very clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. When housekeeping was requested, they cleaned our room quickly. Shower, sink, and toilet are separated at the back of the room and it's very modern. TV was equipped with multilingual channels. I was able to watch a MLB baseball game on a Taiwan channel. It has a lovely balcony that overlooked the entrance foyer.
The swimming pool definitely is a highlight. We enjoyed getting some sun on the pool side. There's a pool side bar but we weren't sure about its hours. The only cons about the amenities is that I tried to use the fitness room and I don't know if it was air conditioned. The weather was extremely hot and I didn't want to work out in a room without air con.
Breakfast was delicious at the restaurant! It provides a variety of asian food (soup noodles, congee, rice) and western food (pancakes, suasage, cheese). The lunch menu at the restaurant is also reasonably priced. Beer was $3 and main entrees were around $7 - 10. Still cheaper than some upscale restaurants on pub street. We ordered fried frog legs as appetizer, amok fish, and pad thai. Everything was delicious.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap. We had a great time!

Like most people who come to Cambodia, my husband and I came to look at the temples, as well as experience the local cultural life. We are avid travellers, who do our own research and bookings for hotels. On this trip which has been approx a month, we have travelled to quite a few different Counties. Taking into account Position, Quality and Comfort of room and Amenities and also value for money, compared to many other hotels we researched, this beautiful Hotel was one our favorite hotels during our trip. I will just mention though, like many other Asian countries we visited, the bed was on the firm side, but still quite comfy, however the pillows were awesome and of high quality, as was the bedding.
Staff were very professional and most spoke English to some level, especially the Front office staff.
The Manager, Mr Lach and Asst Manager Ms Chhem were extremely curtious and helpful during our change from another hotel. We were picked up in a lovely airconditioned car and given cold water. during transfer and a welcome drink on arrival.
(We found this location in Siem Reap suited us better). The Hotel is in a handy position, not far from the river and Pub street is approx 15 mins walk (not that you really want to be too close to that chaotic area if you're over say 30ish,) as that's where all the noisy bars and the worst traffic is, however lots of cheap market shopping.
Yes as one reviewer mentioned the Damrei Angkor is a modernish Hotel, so if you are looking for a more traditional hotel this might not suit... however all staff, to my knowledge seem to be Cambodians, and the Hotel still has a Cambodian flavor about it. The Manager is to be comended how professional and attentive his staff are.
The pool has a bar that makes real fruit smoothies (approx $1.80 US) and Breakfast had a great range of quality food, including an egg station, where they cooked us the most delicious omlettes made to order.
For a room tip; As far as we can figure, there was an original building on the site, which has been renovated to a fairly high standard and also a brand new building has been added. We were put in room 316, which was on the 3rd floor, right at the rear of the property (in the original renovated section). We were extremely happy with our room situation, as these rooms are set back with very private sheltered balconys and away from the front road... (which I must mention has now been bitumened). These rooms also face north/ south so they avoid any direct sun... which in this quite hot climate is helpful, although we found the air-conditioning was extremely efficient and very vety quite (which was an issue in many of the other hotels we stayed at). The grounds are reasonably large for an inner city Hotel ...and there is 24 hour reception and security (although we never felt nervous walking around at night in this area). There are also lifts in both wings, so for those on the 4th levels this can be of great benefit (as lifts arent common here) Also i will mention the housekeeping staff here did a wonderful job and when we called them a couple of times during our stay, they were very prompt and helpful. Our room was cleaned immaculately.
The hotel does have a spa which i didnt use as i thought it a bit on the expensive side.
Lastly, if your going to the temples and want an inexpensive Cambodia experience; we used an amazing young man and rode in his Tuk Tuk. I was a bit nervous at first and asked him to drive slow... which he did. He arrived ahead of time and waited patiently while we finished breakfast. His name if you would like to give him a try was Mr Phul Phirum and his mobile is 093 65 70 79. We found him so polite and he brought along an esky with many bottles of cold water for us as walking around the temples can be hot... so i dont suggest ride push bikes there.
