The basic hotel is a bit outside Putre, just behind the military base. Very quiet. Good beds and hot shower/bath. You can open a window. Nice sunsets to be seen from rooms 8,9,10. Wifi weak. Nice breakfast, but they do not speak English. The place if you want to explore a part of Parque National Lauca and getting used to...

We stayed here only one night to get used to the height before heading to Chungara. My hubby felt horrible sick, so did my middle child (11). Next day we had bfast and were friendly offered chachacocha tea, much better than coca tea!! Unfortunately we could not stayed extra nite, but felt recovered to continue to Chungara and then Codpa....

Arrived there on christmas evening and staff was very helpful. Breakfast in the morning was great and the location is really great . It is a bit difficult to find but one you know it is close to the military base it is easy. Quiel place and a perfect stop to get used to the altitude ! Nice view !

Lovely service from friendly owner and excellent breakfast. Beds were singles but comfy. It looks a bit basic but does all you want from a hotel. Not far from town but given the altitude we drive in for dinner.

The place could use improvements, but they are trying. The radiator in our room didn't work, but was not a problem because there were adequate covers on the bed. Room is large but spartan. There is hot water only in the morning and at night. It takes a few minutes for the hot water to get to the rooms. Wait...

We spent a week at Hotel Qantati while doing work in the region and were very happy that we ended up here - based on my observations, this is the nicest place in Putre. The rooms are large, very clean, simply but nicely furnished, warm at night, and with a large bathroom with a shower/tub and most times plenty of...

This is a no-frills single-storey hotel set in a very quiet site on the edge of Putre, with rooms built around a central garden. It is necessary to walk outside from reception to the room block. The bedroom was large and had an excellent view down the valley (very good sunsets!). One or two issues that did arise (such as...

The Qantati hotel is a nicely maintained motel type structure built around an internal garden. The rooms were roomy and clean - the heater worked well and there was hot water available at any time (this is not necessarily a given in the area). WiFi was best near the lobby. The location was a walkable distance outside of town but...

A newly built hotel with 10 rooms set round a small garden. The reception/lounge/dining area is large and pleasant The bedrooms are basic but fairly large, also the bathroom. A simple Chilean breakfast is served. My one criticism of this hotel is the duvet/quilt provided had no cover. This is really unhygenic and not very pleasant to sleep under. Not...

Putre lies just below the Altiplano an is slightly off the beaten track but it is worth making the detour. The main agricultural activity is growing alfalfa both for winter fodder and sale. It is grown on irrrigated terraces but from the look of abandoned terraces, It seems that the activity is declining. The hotel lies at the bottom of...

“All the rooms appeared the same. We had the room nearest to the lobby so were able to get good WiFi. Alternatively, every person that checks in would have to walk in front of our window so if you have a noisy party (we didn't) coming in late you could be disturbed.”
