Our first visit on a Living social Deal. The Location is excellent and I checked out all the rooms and they were lovely The decor is traditional rather than contemporary and those used to chain hotels might find it a little cluttered. We thought it was charming. It was great that we could take the dog and the option to...

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry that you feel we are just dog tolerant and not dog friendly. We have 3 dogs ourselves and love dogs. However, history has shown us that we can't allow dogs to be left unattended in our rooms. We have instances when owners have promised us their dogs...

Stayed at Roxbro House for our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. Walked in to be greeted by a very lovely young woman who showed us to our room which was everything we expected and more. Crystal glasses and decanter in the room as well as the bathroom. Chocolates and fruit and an invitation to partake in a glass...

My partner booked a surprise weekend stay at Roxbro House for my birthday, and we just returned home yesterday. The building has loads of character and is a stone's throw from the beautiful Warkworth castle and grounds. There is plenty to do locally. Outside Warkworth but just a short walk down the coast is Amble, with its long beach and...

The breakfasts were a delight, lots of choice and everything was cooked to perfection, we had something different each morning and it was all excellent. There are lots of little 'extras'...

Our reason for visiting Roxbro House was that we wanted to eat at the Old Post Office on Friday evening and had only a 4 night stay at No31 finishing on Friday morning. So we looked around and settled on Roxbro House. How pleased we were, other reviewers have commented on different aspects so I wont blather on much. What...

We have returned from 3 nights in this fab B&B. We had the room overlooking the castle and it was wonderful. We enjoyed the Cheese and Wine hour (complimentary) and my husband loved having a piece of cake when we returned from our adventures! We managed breakfast only on one occasion as we were so cosy in our massive bed!...
