We stayed here for a night on our way to Snowdonia, the house was beautiful and Elizabeth was very nice. The room was very clean and well decorated, with special mention for the bed, which was amazing! Breakfast in the morning was also very good, and Elizabeth was helpful in telling us what to do in the area. I would... More

Most enjoyable 5 night break over Easter. Brimford House could hardly be in a more scenically dramatic setting, surrounded on three sides by steep wooded hills, with views over rolling fields towards the higher Welsh hills in the distance. The local Monument to Admiral Rodney stands at the pinnacle of the hill behind the farmhouse. The location is an ideal... More

It does not get much better, was just perfect for what we were looking for, quiet, beautiful views... and the breakfast experience was excellent served with their own homemade jams.... and a good country pub a very short walk away as well as a lovely walk to Rodney's Pillar is recommended.

This was a 3-night break during 50 days of wandering the countryside from Cornwall to the Highlands. It proved to be a highlight of the trip. The house was warm and inviting, the rooms were lovely, the views were beautiful. Liz was friendly and helpful. This is exactly what we wanted, a place to relax after a long day of... More

Something about this house and area that makes my heart sing. The house is lovely, the location amazing and Liz allows dogs. This was our second visit and I aim to go every year with my family. I went with my family and our dog on our second stay and I was not disappointed. Everything is perfect from breakfast and... More

We spent a very pleasant and peaceful two nights at Brimford House. Well off the beaten track, but very quickly into Shrewsbury, this is a spacious and comfortable accommodation. The bedrooms are large as is the sitting room available for the guests. We were warmly welcomed by Liz, the host of the establishment and in which she is also a... More

Brimford House is a B&B on a working farm right at the foot of Breiddon Hills. It was a great location for visiting friends in Harmer Hill, and Garthmyl, and visiting Shrewsbury and Powis Castle. Our room was very spacious and nicely decorated. Our breakfast was really delicious - fresh eggs and bacon - and added bonus of very sweet... More

2 nights at Brimford House was not enough! On arrival our hostess made us a pot of tea which she served in the sitting room (too early in the year for the log fire, unforunately) where we chatted to another couple who had also just arrived. The bedroom was huge and warm, the bed comfortable and the bathroom more than... More
