I have stayed with Geraldine twice now, at Easter and now in August both times for a week. The millstone is a lovely place to stay it's clean and welcoming and Geraldine couldn't be more helpful and cheerful. It's a little gem and so is she!! The breakfast is delicious too!! Highly recommended!!!

We went to Glencolmcille for a family funeral. Geraldine put up 10 members of the family. It's a lovely comfortable friendly B&B. Rooms well equipped each with their own shower room and toilet. The lounge room is comfortable with a tv, use of ironing equipment. Breakfast was a lovely plentiful Irish breakfast, coffee, tea, cereal, fruit etc available also. Central... More

I stayed at the Millstone BnB for one night on my way to Sieve League. The drive to get to Glencolmcille is worth every scary moment - it is spectacular! Nice big rooms, very welcoming hostess and a full-Irish breakfast all at a reasonable price.

We stayed here with Geraldine and her family while my wife attended the Irish language and culture school. Our accommodations were arranged through the school. Our room was great with lots of space to spread out and arrange our luggage for the seven days we stayed. As a base for my exploring the local ruins I could not have been... More

To understand my appreciation of this warm B&B, you have to realize I arrived after 39 miles of cycling in northwest Donegal, Ireland, part of which was going up Slieve League, I was exhausted. Mrs. Geraldine Byrne greeted me with a smile. I arrived later than normal at approximately 6PM. I took a nice hot shower, got ready to go... More

We stayed here on our 2nd night of a three day bike trip in Donegal and it was lovely! After cycling all day we were tired and looking forward to a hot shower. The room was clean with enough room to move around. The bathroom was small but the shower was hot. When we were done cleaning up we were... More

I stayed at the Millstone for 6 nights while hiking and lounging about in Glencolmcille. Geraldine's breakfasts were generous and tasty—and of great help on my hiking days. 8 hours of hiking up and down hills—a good breakfast is absolutely required! The Millstone is about a 12 minute walk to the beach, a 3 minute walk to town, and has... More

The owner, Geraldine Byrne, is a wonderful host in a very comfortable place and the breakfast is terrific. GlenColumcille is a beautiful place to visit and the MillStone is conveniently located for everything. Our six days there flew by and we hated to leave. We definitely hope to return again.

We were there for 3 nights and all of them were wonderful. The rooms were always clean with a fresh made bed everyday. Geraldine was a wonderful host and Ben, the dog, was a perfect companion for the stay. The food was great and there was never a shortage of it. Would definitely stay here again when back in town.
