Spent a week here in October on a walking and cooking trip with HF holidays (UK). The hotel staff are amazing and helpful, great food, rooms are well equipped, spotless and well maintained and there is a beautiful roof top cafe for breakfast, one going up for a drink during the day or evening. It is about a 10 min....

I stayed here for 7 nights on an organised walking holiday on a breakfast and eve meal basis. Rooms a reasonable size with a very small balcony, we were able to see the sea looking to left, no full sea views. Beds comfortable, room very clean, a safe, fridge, shower a bit small. Breakfast the usual buffet, breads, cheese, cold...

This small hotel In Bonassola is an ideal centre for exploring the Cinque Terra. The village is a haven of calm when compared to the crowds in the five villages but is served by the main rail line to all the other locations. Should one wish, rather than taking the train, it easy to walk to Levanto (a larger town)...

I last stayed here about 10 years ago as part of a walking group and decided to come back independently with my husband. Lovely double aspect bedroom with views to the sea and the pedestrian area of Bonassola. Nice bathroom with shower, plenty of toiletries and towels. No air conditioning may be an issue for some, but with the shutters...

Second time at Hotel delle rose and don't regret it. It's a reassuring place, you have the feeling nothing has changed and nothing will ever change here, in a positive way. Although not exactly charming (some architecture details from the past like the main stairs are beautiful, while some more recent details like floor tiles are a bit cheap) or...

Walking in the Cinque Terre but staying in Bonassola is such a good way to keep away from the crowds. We stayed here 4 nights and then went on to Monterosso. In hindsight would recommend staying here. The family run hotel cannot be faulted if you like quiet, efficient, helpful Italians. Breakfast on the roof terrace, fine food prepared by...

My husband and I were part of HF Holidays guided walking trip to the Cinque Terra and the group stayed at the Hotel delle Rose. It turned out to be the perfect choice. We were near the five villages, just a short train ride away, but not in the sometimes overly busy villages themselves. We took the train to arrive...

Exceptionally clean venue with lovely and friendly staff. Nicely positioned in the charming village of Bonassola, a pleasure to come back to after a day's exploration. Plentiful food. Lovely views from the rooftop terrace bar/breakfast room. Spacious room. Plenty of hot water. Many of the rooms only have views over the side and back alleyways but I imagine you can...

We very much enjoyed our four-night stay at this friendly family-run hotel which has a fascinating history. Our room, equipped with a safe, fridge and flat-screen TV, was comfortable and at the end of long days visiting the Cinque Terre, it was heaven to climb into a comfortable bed with beautifully laundered sheets! The bathroom was spacious and we much...

We stayed from 10/3 to 10/11 and enjoyed every aspect of a well managed hotel. Delicious breakfast and dinner, pleasant and attentive managers and servers. Clean rooms upon return from our daily hikes, this is a great find. The town is charming and out of the tourist crowds. Easy walk to the train station. I want to add a comment...
