Location is perfect, nice and quite area. Private and secure parking is big bonus. No problem with my German Shepherd dog. Quick fix at around €2 to creaking doors will upgrade this place to 4 Stars. Staff should know at least 2-3 words in other languages, I speak 5 but unfortunately no French. Cleaning around property will do job, especially...

Great town for touring the D-Day areas. Staff here are friendly and attentive. Room was average but the bed was very soft and the bathroom extremely small. Much smaller than the en suite on a ferry. Breakfast was 7 euros and well worth the money. The evening meal was good value and most enjoyable.

Went in on the off chance the food might be good, situated on a corner and it was a lovely day. The welcome was great, the service good as was the food. A lovely atmosphere we will return. Well worth a visit to this small town.

In my opinion the worst restaurant on the planet !! Water smells of car fuel, warm horrible wine, raw burgers and undercooked omelettes of which in my opinion I'm still reaping the consequences. Crazy cook still wanting paying for the burgers which were not touched as they were almost still mooing !!!! Avoid if u value your life !!!!!!! Drove...

Stopped off for lunch en-route to the port of Cherbourg, the service was terrible, I asked for tap water with my meal, others in the party requested wine. The tap water had a very strong smell of diesel oil, and tasted awful. I pointed it out to our waitress who agreed it had a bad smell, but did nothing to...

We booked for the budget room including evening meal and breakfast. Parked outside, checked in, had a nap then walked around the town. Had a drink at the table followed by a 3 course dinner, slept like logs. Cabin bathroom very small but I was warned when I booked, we were on a budget as working. Breakfast was plentiful, help...

Room was very dated but clean. Right next to train station so very noisy. Waited ages to get a drink at the bar. Didn't eat there as it didn't look great. But it was cheap so can't really complain it done the job for a 1 night stay.

To be avoided. Grubby room. Unhelpful, brusque staff. No towels on arrival despite evening check in. No loo roll either - it had to be pleaded for. Shabby food too. Really nothing to recommend at all other than look elsewhere. Suspect that Utah beach could possibly have been more welcoming in 1944...

My Wife and I have just had the worst room we've ever had. Beware room 7!!! I appreciate this is a budget hotel but these guys have taken their hotel to an even lower level, the toilet facilities have to be seen to be believed. On the plus side the bed was not bad considering everything else was awful. Staff...

The hotel is every bit the filthy dump that others describe. I strongly suspect that any review over a "2" was written by insiders. We reserved a non-smoking room (their best room, they said). The room had an awful, ashtray odor, half-masked by a pungent perfume. It quickly triggered an asthma attack. We quickly told them we couldn't stay. The...
