Creity Hall is a Victorian villa dating back to the late 1800s - It has undergone a major refurbishment by the current owners and now operates as a guest house as well as being a family home. Guest rooms are situated on the first floor and are all en-suite. Accommodation available on a room-only basis if preferred though breakfast is available in the guest dining room. Creity Hall is based a short walk from Doune village, home to Doune Castle, one of the film locations of the popular series of Outlander and Monty Python films. Also local is Deanston Distillery. The Trossachs and historic town of Stirling, with Stirling Castle, Wallace Monument and other buildings of historic interest are less than 10 miles away. There is a self-catering chalet also situated in the grounds, our guests frequently tell us that our location is a perfect spot to use as a base to travel round Central Scotland. Rooms are comfortable and stylish with underfloor heating and heated towel rails in all bathrooms. King size or superking sized beds in all guest rooms.

Classy, friendly, homely and great value for money. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and attentive, the room spacious and well appointed and the common lounges like a home from home. One caveat: don't do what I did and recklessly tweak the underfloor heating controls in the evening unless you want to roast in your bed.

This review is late in coming (we actually stayed in August 2018) but - Karen deserves every 5 star review on here. She was welcoming, gave us great advice, took time to treat us as though she didn't have a million things to attend to - which she did having a full house. She told us the house was designed with the idea of having a small wedding ceremony in mind, and we thought that would be terrific.
The breakfast was very nice, with fresh eggs and several options. The room was comfortable and warm on a cool, rainy, summer day.

We stayed for a long weekend and from start to finish Creity Hall was a fantastic place for a short break. A beautifully restored period house, very comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. Freshly cooked breakfast in the cosy dining room and a very warm and welcoming lounge and library to relax. Karen and Bruce are relaxed and friendly hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Tea and coffee is freshly made whenever you like and accompanied by biscuits and cake. The local area is very accessible, recommend The Woodside nearby for lunch or dinner and a walk along the river to Deanston Distillery.

Had a two night stay. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice and high quality food, all cooked to your liking. Ideally situated for the Deanston distillery and local restaurant for an evening meal and close by to Stirling. We would highly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for looking after us.

We loved everything about this property. The attention to detail and amenities made this a top notch accommodation with the most comfortable bed!

It is conveniently located near Stirling, Doune Castle, and even within day-trip range for Edinburgh or other places like St. Andrews.

If I were to do my 3-week Scotland vacation over, I would plan 5 nights at this property rather than the 1 we spent as it was so lovely.

Bruce was a great host and we enjoyed a drink with him in the lounge and great conversation.

Breakfast was top notch.

Highly recommend.

Thank you very much for an adventurous stay with you. Hadn't booked in advance, and we arrived tired and hungry. We were allocated the "Africa" room and shortly afterwards served a lovely evening meal - as well as a whisky. The breakfast can compete with the best hotels. Thank you very much for two great days and organizing the Highland tour. Would love to come back. Greetings 2 Norwegian hikers.

The lovely chalet is located a few minutes away from downtown Doune. It is a grand building built for the nobility and renovated for modern use. Our room and our bathroom were spacious and the high ceiling made it feel even larger. Our friendly host, Karen, served us tea in the beautiful library. A very good breakfast was served in the grand room on the first floor.

My daughter stayed here for almost two weeks whilst working nearby. Karen and Bruce made her so welcome she almost became one of the family! Spotlessly clean, spacious rooms and lovely location. Can't recommend this bed and breakfast highly enough.

I stayed at this beautiful Place for 3 nights after looking at 3 other places in the area and decided to give this a try. The Hall is beautifully decorated throughout and my room, the Thistle room was extremely tasteful with luxurious furnishings and a modern and clean bathroom.

The Breakfast was delicious and you must try the Scots/Ulster breakfast plate ..... Yum!... Also a nice selection of fresh fruit, pastries and so on.

The hosts are very warm and friendly and nothing is too mich trouble.

I would not hesitate to stay here again. This place is well above your average B&B.
