The room was very clean and was a good size. I would have appreciated a kettle, since the restaurant didn't open until 8 so there was nowhere for an early morning coffee. I had some trouble figuring out the heating system, which is controlled from the front desk. There was an opening window, which is always appreciated, but it was... More

A hotel in the main town area and therefore accessible to a variety of shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and has pictures denoting themes. The beds are very comfortable. The restaurant and bar offers a good selection. The staff are courteous and helpful. A delightful place to spend a few days.

We splurged and booked a deluxe room because it has bigger windows. It was clean, fresh, sunny. Nothing spectacular but very pleasant. English language CNN was a plus. Service was excellent, welcoming, easy. Convenient parking in front of the hotel. Pricey by local standards but worth the treat. Breakfast (included in room rate) was great though coffee/tea was not self-service... More

I can fully recommend the kitchen in the hotel, we had a local specialities, duck with dumplings and cabbage and "Svickova" - Cream Sauce. Both had a great taste and service were very friendly and professional.

Hotel Aplaus is highly recommended if your are going to stay anywhere in the general area; it is worth a bit of a drive, as few regional hotels are up to its standard. Aplaus is in a historical building that has been massively renovated inside. It is very central, just steps from the center of town and the castle. Rooms... More

Terrific little hotel in a beatiful Moravian Village. Service leve is good and English is no problem. Nestled on a cobblestone street next to an old church, the hotel has a well-thought out movie theme which is very charming. On site bar and restaurant which is quite good. Local pub within walking distance. The hotel can be a little hard... More
