A very chance place we strolled upon in high in the Pyrenees. Needed a bed for the night and hey presto this was the place. A very class looking place, with top notch rooms. All elements of the rooms were very clean, even came with a combe. Had Quirky cows, donkies and sculptures out the front. Was wonderful. The food... More

We booked through a dakotabox offer, spa and breakfast included. Even though the hotel is not really central to the town this was in no way an inconvenience. A short walk uphill and in no time we were there. The hotel is perfect, good service, personal attention and catered to all our requests. For example, our room did not have... More

I stayed here on my own after a long tiring motorcycle trip along the length of the Spanish Pyrenees. Staff were very friendly - on arrival I was immediately given access to the secure basement car park to store my bike. At least two of the staff spoke fluent English. Rooms were modern - there rest of the hotel has... More

We chose this hotel mainly because we thought it had a heated swimming pool which would have been cool coupled with the cold weather. Unfortunately the pool was freezing but they had a jacuzzi and sauna which isn't the same to me. Clean modern rooms with a nice little balcony overlooking the mountains and beautifully landscaped gardens. Also lady at... More

We (4 senior gents from Scotland) stayed 5 nights in the Hotel del Pado during a curling bonspiel in the town. We also golfed on three occasions at excellent courses a few kilometres from Puigcerda. The hotel is family run, has very friendly and efficient staff who organised golf for us, called taxis, booked excellent restaurants and produced a wide... More

This is a pleasant three-star hotel. Don't be put off by the rather old-fashioned decor in the lobby and dining room. The double room we had was quite small, but comfortable and functional; it even had a tiny balcony. The wifi worked well. Happy with it for the price. Unfortunately it rained for most of the two days we were... More

We had a delightful one night stay in this clean and comfortable hotel in a beautiful location and lovely grounds. The staff was especially helpful and friendly with our very limited Spanish. We hadn't planned to be in Spain but the beauty of the landscape changed our plans. We found this hotel by chance. Luckily, they provided us with a... More

Stay here quite alot on our trips through the Pyrenees. Find it to be a good hotel although we only stay usually for 1 or 2 nights evening food is great and the breakfasts are even better. A good place to stay to join the little yellow train if you want to avoid the crush of Villefranche in the summer.... More

I visited here as part of a cycling trip, riding through the Pyrenees with Marty Jemison Cycling Tours. As the title says, it's a cool place. It has this great courtyard out front with giagantic solid granite tables & big umbrellas, surrounded by a well groomed garden. You can sit out side & have a cold drink in the court... More

We found hotel Del Prado on our way to Spain after a long day driving trying to escape forest fires in north of Spain. From the outside, the hotel looks the usual mountain type and the lobby/public area seems to be a little overwhelmed... But we asked for a large room for our family and got room #252, which can...
