This is such a delightful bed and breakfast in the heart of the Speyside region of Scotland! The owners are such a special couple, who make sure that all of their guests are made very welcome. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were complete with amenities. Breakfast was outstanding and made to order! Dinner also didn't disappoint with...

Lovely rooms, fantastic food and very friendly attentive staff. The owners of Archiestown give you such a warm welcome, you'll feel right at home! Two nights stay at the Archiestown Hotel was a real treat and very convenient for our film shoot location. Thanks for a lovely stay - I hope to be back soon!

This hotel is a "must visit "on the Whiskey Trail. I have just spent an excellent 3 days there - the warm hospitality, attention to detail in the rooms and service is as good if not better than a lot of 5 star establishments I have visited. The wonderful beds and comfortable sitting rooms exude ambience, as well as a...

We were visiting distilleries and stayed in Carron in a B&B. Restaurants are scarce and hard to find if you don't book ahead. We found the hotel bistro and had an amazing meal. The staff was extremely nice and professional. The food was beautifully prepared and nicely presented. I did not expect such preparations from a bistro in the middle...

My husband and I visited the hotel on Friday night and had a delicious 3 course meal. I had the famous twice baked cheese souffle, steak and hand cut chips, followed by sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and ice cream and I left 3 very clean plates! We were made to feel very welcome from the beginning and we...

Dropped in for an evening meal on the off chance having arrived at a near by guest house "too late". A very British concept! The owners were delightful and the food excellent. Service Delivery was friendly and efficient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone based on my experience.

Four of us had booked lunch in our favourite restaurant. As it was a warm, sunny day we were given the option of sitting outside. The table was set up for us and we had wonderfully attentive service. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious.

Went there for dinner. Is one of those places where you get sat in a sitting room and they come around with the menu and you choose before you sit at the table. The place has an odd layout and I couldn't help feeling that the sitting room would have made a better location for the restaurant as it has...
