The resort is very easy to find and conveniently located at the base of Mount Popa. One can get a perfect view of both Taung Kalat and Taung Ma Gyi from every corner of the resort. The room was well-designed to be both spacious and comfy. There were plenty of storage space and international sockets which was a big plus. The garden and the pool were always well-kept and spotless during our 3-day stay. The service we got was extremely professional from booking to check-out. Every staff we met was welcoming, efficient, and always seemed to know how to assist us before we even said anything. It felt like a 5-star hotel service! The restaurant offers us a few choices of traditional rice salads for breakfast, which also came with several side dishes. Other dishes in the a la carte menu were also delicious and reasonably priced. Another gem of the resort was the massage service. The therapist was very experienced and, unlike at most other resorts, it was very affordable. I had foot massage twice during the stay and it was one of the best foot massages I have had in my life. Overall, perfect stay and would definitely come back

During January, my partner and I visited Myanmar. We came to Popa Garden Resort through a mutual friend and enjoyed our lunch there. The staffs were friendly and helpful in every way. The prices and food were reasonable for us and we enjoyed every bite. It is very quiet and the view was gorgeous. We will come and stay at Popa Garden Resort for our next trip in Myanmar. This resort is truly a refreshing gateway and a place to relax.

Dear All   We returned yesterday from a fantastic holiday in magnificent place Popa Garden Resort. The tracking to the Popa mountain top was a highlight, showing us the flowers and view of Toungkalat. The staff under the professional guidance of Ms Jack could not have been more welcoming and efficient and her team providing outstanding service. The room, the pool in the garden with popa view is so wonderful. My children can play in the garden that is good for family to stay. One can tell that  professional and experienced guidance from management have resulted in  this very successful holiday. We will recommend your hotel to all travelliing friends!   Warm regards Zaw and Zin family

My partner and I flew into Mandalay and headed straight to Popa Garden Resort, so glad we did. The new hotel director and her staff were warm, hospitable and very helpful. Our room had surreal views of the Mt Popa monastery and surrounds. Sunset in the pool with monks chanting was surreal. In the morning we woke up predawn and walked up to Mt Popa hoping to summit for sunrise, however we could only go to the village at the base of the monastery as the monastery gates didn’t open til 6am. Regardless it was magical and on the way back down getting busy with people walking up, so I recommend staying at this lovely resort and going early. We would have stayed two nights if we’d had more time. For a couple on a kid-free week it was bliss. Second photo is the view from our room.

My husband and I had the pleasure to spend two nights at Popa Garden Resort. As a travel agent I was visiting this resort to see if it’s one I would recommend to my clients. It certainly is! We stayed in Villa number 7 and were so pleased with everything. The view of the monastery was lovely and the room had everything we needed and more. The resort is set in a lovely garden oasis. The pool was clean, refreshing and the lounging chairs around the pool were very comfortable. All of staff were beyond helpful and friendly. We also really enjoyed the food, especially the local dishes. The fish curry was lovely and unlike others reviews about food we had no issues with the right temperature. The a la carte breakfast was also great, a prefect way to start your day. I will go back, for sure! We were visiting in the slower season so we had the entire resort to ourselves. I had a chance to see all room types and while I personally recommend the villa (because of the space and the bathtub) the deluxe balcony rooms were just as lovely. Thanks to all of the staff for a memorable stay.
