This hotel is worth every penny - from the staff to the facilities to the nice little touches. My room and bathroom were gorgeous with lovely furnishings but I was most impressed with the little extras - Scottish tablet, shortbread and a cafetiere with fresh coffee for two. There was even an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. The...

I don't ever really review anywhere but thought this gorgeous hotel deserved it. Mostly a good review but there were a few things left us slightly disappointed. Start with the goods. My husband booked us in here for the night for my 30th birthday as we have drove past for years & I've always wanted to stay. Nice swift check...

I spent 2 nights at the Craigellachie in January - freezing days and nights and moderate snow flurries (what some more southern dwellers call heavy snow). Very welcoming at the Craig as usual and perfectly cozy inside. Bedrooms are very fresh, bright and clean and well appointed, having gone through a thorough refurbishment several years ago. Lovely Scottish breakfast too...

I was on a distillery exploration when I stayed at here. Craigellachie kept me immersed in the romance of Whisky at the end of each day, and long into the nights. It is beautiful in all respects. The bedroom was lovely, the food very good and the building is fantastic. The bar has a vast selection of Whiskey's to help...

We had afternoon here today and thoroughly enjoyed it. A great selection of sandwiches, including venison and beetroot, brie on toasted bread, etc, plus cakes - fruit cake, carrot cake and battenburg, mincemeat tarts, macaroons, plus shot glasses full of dark chocolate mousse, blueberry crème brulee, 2 different types of scone served with butter, marmalade and cream, all washed down...

I stayed here last night, had a Comfy Luxe Suite, was very clean & comfortable & had lots of little extras for a special stay. My relatives had other suites and rooms and all were as great as the next. We dined in The Copper Dog, where the food is excellent & so is the service. The Whiskey Bar was...

Hotel was excellent, terrific service on arrival and staff were friendly and extremely helpful, Food first class, drinks selection in bar - awesome. Television reception - pathetic and unwatchable! Surely, in this day and age, satellite TV should be available for guests! When working away from home on your own, the company of a television is essential.

Room was good, smallest on offer but plenty big enough for weekend. Well appointed. Hotel warm, comfortable, attentive and pleasant staff; evening meal was just right (vegetarian options available on request). Evening meal bill was problematic but resolved without fuss on check-out. Relaxed breakfast in nice surroundings. Would happily return.

Wow! What a wonderful afternoon. A lovely welcome awaited us. Friendly staff & the sitting room prepared for us-table laid & fire lit! A beautiful room, warm & cozy. Such delicious food. Freshly prepared sandwiches & homebaked scones & cakes. The custard creams scones and battenburg were just fabulous! The service was faultless. We could have stayed much longer here,...
