We stayed here for just 1 night while walking the Speyside Way. Would definitely return for a longer stay! Speybank is a beautiful home on a quiet street. Very tastefully decorated - overall just a wonderful ambiance. Geraldine made us very welcome, even providing a supply of candles when the power went out in the village (it was restored after about an hour, and all was well). Probably the best breakfast we had the whole week!
What a super B&B. Geraldine the hostess made sure that we were well catered for. The forever giving biscuit and cake tin was legendary and most welcome at the end of a walking day. The rooms were well equipped, TVs, excellent showers and very comfy. Really close to the 2 pubs in town. Thanks Geraldine for a super stay.
We arrived at this wonderful B and B after a very long and hard cycle ride. What better welcome than a cup of tea and delicious fruit cake in the lounge! The room was wonderful. Everything from a large hot shower with moisturiser to feel clean and loved, to a bed was huge and comfortable. There was tea and coffee in the room as well and beautiful home made fudge to fortify tired travellers. Craigellachie is a small town but very pretty and the pub where we had a delicious meal was 5 minutes walk away. The room was quiet at night and we had a great sleep. Breakfast was excellent and well prepared. Fabulous top rate B and B that I would recommend to anyone.
Geraldine gave us a warm welcome to Speybank, tucked away on a quiet road above Craigellachie. The bedroom as with the guest sitting room, is attractively decorated and features a very comfortable super kingsize bed and a luxurious en-suite. It was unfortunate, though, that we stayed during uncommonly hot and muggy weather and found the window a bit small to provide enough ventilation. Speybank has a comfortable sitting room where we had our own evening meal (brought in) and enjoyed Geraldine's delicious home baking with coffee. Breakfasts were generous with a wide range of fruit, cereals and yoghurts as well as the usual cooked options. Speybank is ideally placed for exploring the Spey valley and these reviews reflect Geraldine's hospitality.
We stayed here for 2 nights whilst walking the speyside way and what an excellent place it is! Geraldine is a lovely host, and makes a very very tasty breakfast! Speybank eggs are to die for, as is the bacon and Brie ciabatta. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The lovely extra touches were very welcome, fudge and biscuits in the room and cake in the guest lounge. Would highly recommend!
