Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had an excellent dinner here last night. Fantastic service by Sam and Eilidh. The food was presented beautifully and tasted great. There is a gorgeous cozy little bar. Highly recommend this for an evening out.

Craigellachie Lodge is a Speyside gem - a great place to stay. Well situated, well appointed accommodation with a friendly & welcoming team - offering a relaxing home from home. The food is excellent & the bar is well stocked with fine whisky.

Outstanding Boutique Hotel. Outstanding experience. Great Bar, great selection of Whisky, and great food. Very personalized experience. We were doing the whisky trail and visited a few distilleries. The Hotel is ideally placed for the experience.

Sadly it was only a one night stay as we could have remained here for ever. It is such a warm, welcoming place that makes you feel very special. The room was outstanding and cannot be faulted in any way. The food was yummy and the service unobtrusive yet extremely attentive. Cannot wait to come back.

We stayed 2 evenings. Very friendly and attentive staff, nothing was too much bother. We enjoyed a drink in front of the fire before a lovely meal. The room was spacious, comfortable and full of character. There was a good variety for breakfast will lots of local produce. I look forward to visiting again.

The lodge is very conveniently located just when entering town. The host were super friendly and always interested to making feel at home. The room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, being spoiled with nice local breakfast foods (e.g. full English, egg omelettes etc.). All in all just a great stay!

Our second visit to beautiful Craigellachie Lodge. The room was perfect, especially the gorgeous bathroom. It's the little touches that make a place extra special. The luxury, complimentary toiletries; the bathrobe and slippers, and the little hot water bottle in the drawer for chilly nights. The food is incredible; I highly recommend the Jammie Salami pizza, followed up with a whisky in the impressive, cosy bar. Looking forward to our next visit already!

The 2nd time I've stayed at the Craigellachie Lodge as a base for visiting distilleries on the Speyside Whisky Trail won't be the last. Great rooms, great food, great staff and a excellent bar. Also close to some very good nearby bars as well. Looking forward to coming back.

We visit this area for a business meeting at least once a year. This was the first time we'd stayed at Craigellachie Lodge and we enjoyed it. Hosts made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make us comfortable (a bottle of fresh milk in ice and a tea pot brought to the room as soon as we arrived). It was lovely to be able to eat in for dinner on a cold night after a long drive, and breakfast the next morning was good too. Thank you!
