We stayed one night on our way up to the Hebrides and one night on our way home. Both times we had an evening meal. It was a truly wonderful experience both times. Exceedingly cumphy bed fabulous large shower every detail in the room for comfort but simple and uncluttered. We were delighted to be able to eat on the... More

Definitely one of the highlights of our 2-week car tour of the Scottish highlands. We had one of the modern rooms in an addition behind the main house. Very comfortable, great shower!, and balcony on which to enjoy a drink after a day of touring. What really makes this place outstanding are its hosts Tony and Elizabeth, and Tony's superb... More

Liz and Tony are great hosts and are doing everything that there guests feel at home eg. preparing a breakfast at Sunday 6 a.m.!!! The rooms are nice but the real sensation is the food. Tony prepares excellent meals and Liz is a really nice and very humorous person. We felt very comfortable while staying 2 nights while bagging Munros.... More

Tiny hotel/restaurant (4 rooms, 8 seats, one sitting at 7pm), well worth seeking out. Fantastic location for walking, cycling, chilling out, reading in the wet, bird watching, touring, sailing, fishing and no doubt many others. Handy for Skye and gorgeous remote Glenelg. Great hosts, lovely dinners and breakfasts, the peace broken only by the many songbirds in the garden.

Situated in a beautiful setting, Grants provides excellent accommodation and superb food. Both the evening meal and the next day's breakfast were top class and it was even enjoyable to hear the rain pounding on the glass roof of the dining room. Tony and Liz were really friendly and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our all-too-brief stay. A great start... More

We had a wonderful long holiday here despite the rainy weather. Tony and Liz are excellent hosts, warm and welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble. Our suite was well appointed, stylish, and very comfortable. Tony's cooking is outstanding and surpasses some of the Michelin starred restaurants we have eaten at. Highlights for us were the breakfast dishes of smoked... More

My son and I spent three days at Grants and can only report on how much we enjoyed the stay. From one the excellent cuisine, to the comfortable room and one of the best showers I've ever had the pleasure of standing under in Scotland, the attention to detail was exceptional. Tony produces miracles from his kitchen, much of it... More

Liz and Tony were delightful hosts - welcoming, friendly, they took time to get to know us and the other guests. The dinner and breakfast were fantastic - local ingredients prepared expertly and creatively. Great wine list, too. Oh, and the scenery is jaw-dropping - the Highlands at their best. We'll definitely be back!

Tony and Liz create for every guest just the most pleasurable dining and sleeping experience possible. The dinner was worthy of a top Napa Valley, New York City, or London establishment. Roasted nuts and good olives when you sit down. Small dining room so short menu, as Tony cooks for as if a private chef. We had a Crispy strudel... More
