In the years, this has gone from a decent budget hotel to a rundown, dirty place you don't want to stay at. Many things in the rooms are broken, staff seem to have (understandably) given up. My room still had division from the previous first, but the bed was made. I had towels in the bathroom but no soap, shampoo...

The property is friendly, clean, well located and the staff beyond friendly. Hotel impressions, are of course, a function of why one is staying, and I was there after an arduous 600km drive through the rain forest from French Guyana, and simply needed a clean, cool hotel. It is, of course, a chain hotel, and as such, one expects standards...

As I used to say, if you know nothing about your destination, and have any doubt about where to stay hosted, Ibis usually is a good option without surprises. Good place, silent, near everything you need in town, good staff, comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, and better prices if you are member from Accors fidelity Club. If you want a view...

I've stayed here before & thought the hotel was reasonable & the restaurant pretty poor. This time(two different nights, two different rooms) I thought the hotel had been allowed to deteriorate & the restaurant was outright terrible. HOTEL - Simple things - air conditioning works only on one temperature(freezing!). That's great when you first walk in, but not for sleeping....

It's not a bad hotel, but nothing great. Typical Ibis - small rooms, simple fitout. TV in the room is tiny (19" or so), no room safe & nothing in the minibar. That said, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable & air conditioning worked well(very important in Macapa in summer!). The restaurant is very poor, but it's not...

I got stuck in macapa, brazil, on route to rio and was pleased to find a comfortable place. hotel is clean, has safes, is 10 min from the airport by taxi. The breakfast is good and the air conditioning is there, but could be improved. If you have...

Regular Ibis hotel in a city where you can't find much urban infrastructure. So, a great hotel. Breakfast is good and the front desk staff very friendly. Definetely best choice in town, though without a swimming pool.
