Amazing place. Looked after brilliantly by Jonty, Sarah and their team. Brilliant location, easy access to see all the amazing animals. The pod rooms are stunning. Great food and the communal dining was a great way to meet interesting people and chat about your day. Thoroughly recommend

Beautiful lodge with amazing staff, owners and hosts! Lewa is a great conservancy with ample variety of animals for everyone. The rhino conservation has paid off with a plethora of white rhino and quite a few black as well. Rufus was a thoughtful guide who took the time to patiently wait for the animals to come to us, and he made sure when there was a leopard sighting to get us there, no matter what the terrain or distance was!! Dinners were communal which made great conversation and they food was fantastic! Bernard took me for an educational bird walk- his passion is contagious. The pool was good for some well needed exercise. Rooms are well appointed and the massage from Doris made this stop in our journey complete.

Gorgeous rooms and common areas, Jeantie and Sarah lovely hosts, Joseph was a fantastic guide -- he actually talks to the animals which was totally amusing. We saw lots of animals including rhinos, elephants, hippos, lions etc. Dinners are communal and we enjoyed meeting other travelers. All in all a great place to stay on safari.

An amazing place to stay! A very welcoming, homey atmosphere complete with horses grazing in the yard beside the main lodge, dogs to welcome you, surrounded with wildlife (monkeys). Our room was extremely clean, very comfortable and well equipped. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent. Our hosts, Jonty and Sarah, were very friendly, welcoming and approachable. I was so impressed how the camp is self sustaining - powered by solar, organic garden and animals. The only thing we missed was access to internet in our cottage but it was available in the main lodge. Joseph and Rufus, our drivers, were excellent, friendly and very knowledgeable.

What a wonderful place: beautiful accommodation, excellent facilities, lovely food, great safaris and a lot of fun. Thank you to the hosts, Jonty and Sarah, whose attention and company really added an extra element to the comfort and enjoyment of the whole experience for us.

To say Lewa House was our favorite stop on safari in Kenya and Tanzania is an understatement. From top to bottom our stay was 5 star. The location, architecture, hosts, food, peace and uniqueness are unmatched. The Lewa Conservatory is a slice of the way the world should be and Lewa House is the perfect lodging to experience all the Conservatory has to offer; though, the experience of staying at Lewa House is special in and of itself. Learning the provenance of the property from the hosts, sitting around a candlelit family style dinner added to our appreciation for being able to share and be present in such a special part of the world. Without hesitation, find your way to Lewa House. Our only regret…. Having to depart.

Holy smokes, what an incredible experience. The PEOPLE got to meet were so wonderful. From the owners/managers, our guide (Wilson was amazing!), rangers, the other guests, to the entire staff - everyone was so great. We saw every animal (including TWO leopards!) thanks to our guide, Wilson. The food was also incredible, and the overall experience/ambience was top notch. We really hope to visit again some day!

Absolutely top drawer experience. Loved the food, Jonty & Sarah are a class act, friendly, welcoming environment and amazing wildlife. If you can’t be happy here, you cannot be happy. Wilson was my guide and he is an encyclopedia of knowledge, as well as a great human.

A fabulous start to a month long trip to Africa. The owners Calum and Sophie were away but we were wonderfully looked after by Jonty and Sarah, and of the four lodges we stayed at during our trip this we both agreed this was the best. The earthpod cottages are wonderfully comfortable, the food is excellent and a tour around the vegetable and fruit garden just shows why everything is so fresh. In contrast with a number of other lodges there was communal dining with Jonty and Sarah and other guests and it was great to swap stories and reflect on what we had seen during the day. The game is wonderful - white and black rhino in abundance, and the rare Grevy's zebra - and Joseph our guide looked after us excellently, with G&T out in the park as the sun went down a treat. As some others have said, there is a real feeling here of a caring for the wildlife - no the conservancy is not as large as the Mara but conversely there are very few other visitors around and less of a feeling of "we've seen that animal, tick it off the list and what's next". Would unreservedly recommend Lewa House.…

Stayed in an Earthpod. Very cool. Read my book on the patio as zebras, giraffe and other walked by. Loved waking to sunrise and the song of the birds. Our safari guide everyday was Rufus. He was kind, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. Loved chatting with him. The earthpod has an outdoor tub with fireplace we enjoyed. The room is cool and comfortable. This place is special, not just because of the excellent service, great food, open bar, unforgettable Safari drives, and attention to detail but because of the people who run the house. You eat meals with the other guests, chat about your days and travels, and with the owners and managers. It’s a unique experience and makes it feel like home in a way. You feel like part of the family. Hope we can return!!
