Reading the other reviews, it sounds like other guests have confused this place with the campi elisi. Seriously? Perhaps when people have spent upwards of EUR 300 a night and are on honeymoon, have travelled outside of the USA for the first time, or have been awed by the spurious link to the Italian aristocracy, I guess this place in a way needs to live up to their wild expectations. In my view, it's just not that good. If it were half the price, it would be fine: it's a smart farmstay and should be presented and priced as such. Punto. A few observations: the location and views etc. are nothing compared to the proper hill town areas in the more central areas of Tuscany; the cheaper rooms are very ordinary; the general staff are really nice and try hard, but often during our…

I stayed her with my sister and absolutely loved it. It is such a wonderful place. I am going to make sure I make it back there again and again. You are missing out if you do not make a trip to this special place. The wine tasting and food was amazing amazing! I loved every bit of my stay here and was so sad to leave!
We stayed for 3 nights at this stunning property, set on a beautiful, organic wine farm in southern Tuscany. The team are keen to do everything they can to make your stay relaxing - and they succeeded completely. With only 5 rooms this property made us feel very, very special. We'd splashed out on Room 1 - the largest suite with 270 degree views, a log fire and a bathroom larger than many hotel rooms! We ate on the estate each night, and enjoyed amazing traditional Tuscan food and wine from the cellar. The highlight of the stay for us was almost 3 hours spent on a 'wine journey' with Elizabetha - from the vines, to the cantena, to the process of making the wines, we LOVED this experience. We've done many wine tours all over the world, but this is by far the best we've…
We had 5 nights at this beautiful house and loved every minute of it. The staff provided excellent service-they were attentive and always on hand, without disturbing us. The setting is stunning and we were able to spend hours on end simply looking out over the surrounding vineyards. The wine tasting afternoon was really interesting and we got to taste some gorgeous wine. It was run by the owner and his head wine expert and is something that we will always remember. Meeting the owner was interesting and he was charming with amazing stories-it made our stay even more special. The food was good and freshly made but perhaps a little over priced- some nights we drove to some local restaurants as recommended by Polly and Bradley at the house. Overall this is a beautiful place to stay…
