finally after years of misleading people who traveled long distances to this place it seems to have closed up! they upset me a few years back the and the negative reviews only continued. very sad to see a beautiful place go down the drain because of bad management.

Good things: Mini-fridge worked well, cute room albeit small for an upgraded room, cabin feel, jacuzzi worked well for us although you did need to use a fork to get the plug out, loved the TV in the jacuzzi, dinner was good and although not a "river" the stream view from the restaurant was great and we saw some muskrats...

My wife and I went to their steakhouse for our anniversary. We were treated like we were an inconvenience. Asked for wine menu and waiter said they had good house wine then gave the next couple that sat beside us a wine menu!? Ok whatever I'm not gonna let that wreck our evening. We order medium rare steak that was...

Hastings is too far from being a resort may be comparable to a cheap motel in terms of service. It is only beautiful! Please read the following negative points that made us to stay away from Hastings in the future. 1- No breakfast on Holidays! Kitchen was entirely closed on Monday October 12 2015. 2- There is no reception or...

Oh my where to begin? First of all it is not a resort - it is a musty smelling lodge! The suites are simply small motel like rooms with absolutely zero amenities provided,I've experienced nicer toilet paper in dirty truck stops. In a "suite" one might expect to find bedside tables , a desk for your laptop , dresser or even...

The overall place is ok. The river is very weedy, and has blood suckers. But it's great for fishing. The small rapids make for a nice little hideaway from everyone, it's just up the logging road. The restaurant food was really good, but over priced. One morning they were late opening for breakfast by 1.5 hours, so we went just...

We didn't stay at the resort but stopped into the steakhouse. The property looks beautiful and the decor in the restaurant is lovely. Lots of wood and stone. I ordered steak with mashed potato and my boyfriend ordered steak with pave potato (basically scalloped potato). We ordered the steaks medium-rare and they came medium and barely warm. The grilled vegetables...

We had a great time, came here as a couple and our room was perfect. The rooms are cozy and look like you would expect a log cabin to look like. Flat screen tv in the room, stand up shower in the bathroom. There is tons to do at the resort, atv, kayak etc. You can also have a camp...
