Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice hotel, a little away from the downtown hustle. The bedroom was nice, but the bathroom needs a renovation in my opinion. Also, more options needed in breakfast - haven't travelled all the way to Kalaw to have pancakes for breakfast.

This small resort is off main market in Kalaw. If thou love greenery, plants, bushes, trees, this is the place.
The staff was courteous and hospitable.
Rooms were spacious, clean and bit old. Seems need renovation. Thankfully they gave us an early check in.

Environmental is quiet with relaxing. Friendly with staff and good service. Daily cleaning routine. Take 7mins bike to go the Kalaw Market. Price is reasonable. I feels comfortable when staying in there.

The hotel has beautiful grounds and a lovely view to eat breakfast or have a drink at dusk in the outdoor seating areas. The rooms were spacious, quite cold at night but had everything we needed and was clean. The staff were extremely helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay when visiting Kalaw. We loved it so much that we returned for a few days to relax after visiting the chaotic, noisy and polluted Inle Lake.

We arrived here very early after being dropped off by the night bus from Bagan at 1am. We weren't booked in to stay till the next morning so we got ready to sleep in the reception area but they had our room ready for us let get some sleep at no extra cost! This hotel is located up a hill just outside of the centre of Kalaw but it only took about 10 minutes to walk. All of the cabins are surrounded by gorgeous wild flowers as well which makes the place look really beautiful.

I was very cold in our cottage with no heat. The big cottage was poorly designed with 1 room for shower & another for toilet. The water did not run for cold or warm through the shower head. There’s no heater. The guy who worked at night went out of his way to allow me to shower in another cottage. I was sick the two nights we stayed there so it was not a pleasant time. The girl barged her way into the cottage in the morning just to find out she was delivering breakfast to the wrong room.
