At the front of the hotel is the beautiful Walensee. Behind the hotel is the majestic Churfirsten mountain range. Located at the edge of the town of Walenstadt, the Seehof Restaurant and Hotel is family-owned and staffed by pleasant, helpful people. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate. The wait staff is professional and attentive. Our family stayed for five delightful nights,... More

I was recommended to stay in this hotel for some local business visits and found it a very nice place to stay. It is at the end of the lake Walensee with beautiful sunset views down the lake and nestles under some very picturesque peaks behind the hotel. The location is quiet and the hotel has a very nice restaurant... More

Upon arrival I was greated by a friendly person on reception. Quickly got my room key and told where my room was. Upon opening the door I was greated by a brilliant view over looking the lake. The TV didn't have any English channels but that didn't lower my opnion of the hotel. I tried connecting to the wifi and... More

I have popped here a few times now for quick business meetings. The staff are always a Very accommodating, efficient and polite. I always have a brough soup dish which is soup with an egg yolk inside. Extremely tasty indeed. I am yet to have a main dish though but will do as I am confident that it will taste... More

Verry terrible room. Very small. The bath equipment is in terrible condition. Verry noisy when the restaurant is open. Also, some terrible noise from outside from some vent or a refregiator all the night. Couldn't sleep.

This hotel is a must stay if you are looking for accommodation in the area. Its on the lake so a short walk to the town. If you are travelling by ferry even better as the ferry wharf is at the door. The rooms are of average size and include a 'peek' in bath room which means you can see... More

What a great place to be! The people, the staff, the food and the view over the lake! I stayed here multiple times for work and love the place. It's quiet, good to rest for a day or two and move on with your journey. Don't expect too much luxury. This is 'just' a family owned place where they take... More

We were staying here as part of a 4 countries/3 lakes cycle tour organised by Radweg & Reisen. We had a lovely large room and ensuite with 2 aspects and a balcony. We arrived early afternoon so were able to enjoy a walk up the hill behind the hotel and a stroll along the lake. The staff were helpful and... More

We stayed here in September 2014. We found the room quite large and the bathroom was the largest we had had in a while. Our room overlooked the street and lake so very pleasant. Very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was relaxed and we had the beef fillet which was perfect!
