My partner and I were just saying this is probably the best hotel we’ve stayed at.

The resort is adults only and, one reviewer mentioned before that it’s like living in an Aesop bottle. Couldn’t agree more. The design of the hotel is gorgeous, service is impeccable, breakfast is plentiful and varied. On the last day I realised I think they can also do a la carte omelettes and such but we didn’t even need that as the buffet was delicious.

The staff is welcoming and very friendly, a special shout out to the spa - Faye has magic hands and the Hippocrates massage is out of this world. Make sure to prebook though, she gets full rather quickly.

Try not to miss the yoga in the mornings - it takes place on the beach and the teacher is fantastic. Stretching while listening to the waves is an unforgettable experience.

The restaurant, while not particularly Greek has amazing food and I can see the appeal of the half board. However the restaurants the staff recommended were fantastic as well.
Overall I cannot recommend it enough and we will make sure to come back. I already miss their reception cats!

A wonderful and tranquil oasis The two of us had a brilliant time here , met some wonderful people and fantastic experience .
The food was exceptional the rooms were fabulously furnished and offered every amenity one could ask for .
The hotel was clean , bright and clean . They ensured that everyone wore masks and sanitised the tables and areas regularly .
The guest experience team were exceptional and organised whatever and advised us on the best external restaurants and tavernas when we hired a car , which was easier than renting one externally . Their restaurant by the port in Kos was exceptional and remarkably cheap with fabulous view over the sea . The restaurant in Limonas , a short drive in the other direction from Kos was a delight and again served fabulous array of fresh fish dishes and had a great atmosphere , also a trip up the mountain at Zia is not to be missed and the guest team booked us a table just in time to see it .
All in all the hotel is the best on the island by far , a great place to chill as not a lot goes on in the evenings . All the staff bent over backwards to assist you in anyway they could. Half board best option as the a la carte is limited ,mind you saying that I managed to order a magnificent burger from the room service Menu .

Just come back from an amazing stay with my adult daughter. We stayed a week in a junior suite with swim up pool , would highly recommend this option , it was beautiful , minimalistic , slightly Balinese design , felt like we had the pool to ourselves most days and only shared with two others anyway. All the staff from reception , at the resteraunt and bar where so friendly and we can’t speak highly enough of the service . Yes the prices are higher than outside the hotel but the 10 euro Greek salad (approx) would feed a family of 4 it was huge!! In fact all the food portion sizes where good , we enjoyed everything we tried especially the slow cooked lamb. The breakfast buffet choice is also really varied and was great quality , we ate at the Oku every day bar one.
Always room at the beach and main pool, really comfy loungers at both , watch the sunset at the beach and take a bottle of wine down ! The place was spotless , modern and we couldn’t fault it . The introduction of QR codes at all the tables and loungers so you can view all the menus and activities in your phone is awesome!!! Thank you to Lena , you were always so smily and kind and the whole team who made us feel so welcome. We would certainly stay again. Oh and they did provide a welcome drink to new arrivals and facecloths we noticed when we were checking out so clearly they listen to feedback too!!

Dear Oku management
After a first very good impression we had sadly learned that Oku Kos is far away from a 5* property in the high budget category. Please take more care about our hotel.
Categories to improve are: cleanness of the room, motivation of the young not trained staff, customer orientation, eye-contact with your clients, maintenance of inventory.....

Sorry to inform you that we can't recommend Oku Kos to our family and friends. Our NPS relating is far below an 8, you didn't ask us about our experiences neither during our stay nor by checking out, so we guess you are not interested in feedback.

This Hotel is amazing! I stayed 4 nights by myself and then the last 4 nights my friend came. We even got an upgrade.
I initially booked 4 nights and they happily extended for me even though they were saying fully booked nearly online.
All of the staff are genuinely lovely. From the moment you arrive to depart, they are very welcoming and only want to make your stay an amazing one!

The breakfast every morning is very good. It would have been nice to maybe see some more vegan/gluten free options.
They can arrange excursions for you although I didn’t do any.
They have a shop which sells some lovely clothes, healthy wellbeing products. It would be great if they sold amenities like a travel adaptor. My friend forgot hers when I left and the taxi in total cost $45 for her to go to the shop.

I would 100% recommend hiring a car out there as apparently there is only one taxi company on the island and just from the airport to hotel, for a 15 min journey it costs $25 euros. It depends if you want to stay in the hotel but I went out for dinner and went to other beaches. I hired from Exer GR from a lovely lady called Katerina.

All in all, there is nothing to fault.

We stayed here in August of 2020, and it was one of the best experiences in our life! A greek paradise with contemporary and mininal design. Great hospitality from the check in (welcome drinks and face towels) and through the whole of our stay!
We stayed at a suite with shared pool (between 3 rooms) with the right amount of privacy so nobody to be bothered.
Exceptional service with delicious cuisine and great massage therapy!
Everybody from the staff went far and beyond to please all our needs, even when we wanted a last minute massage therapy, or when we asked for a very late check out!
To put it simply, we came to a point to know most of the staff in first name basis in just 3 days! Kwnstantinos 3/3 in wine pairing was the highlight of our dinners! Keep up the good work guys and the wide smiles!!!
Hope to see you again soon!

We were lucky to have found this beautiful, laidback, stylish resort in Kos. We were spending 12 wonderful days in this bungalow style resort in mid July. We booked a villa with a pool which we can only recommend. Modern, minimalistic design with wood and stone, big terrace with a sofa lounge and two chaise lounges at the pool and a hammock. Plenty of shade and almost complete privacy. We never even went to the hotel pool just to the private beach with very comfy lounge chairs. The Resort is some distance away from the main street and therefore very quiet which we loved.
Very friendly staff at the restaurant and bar. We booked ½ board since we knew that there aren’t any restaurants in walking distance. Every night there was a different degustation menu where you could choose between 3 main courses. We loved the food and variety. After a week we switched to breakfast only and ate à la carte since the degustation menu stayed the same. Breakfast buffet, almost everything from local farms, was amazing, due to Covid we could not serve ourselves but staff put it on our plates. Special thanks to our servers Servio and Costas who gave us always great wine recommendations. Also a shout-out to Chef Michalis who on our last day gave us a sealed bag of their fantastic peanut butter.
We will definitely come back and can recommend this place for couples in a child free environment.

Liked · Sublime from start to finish. We arrived very late (after 11pm local time) and were incredibly happy to find we had our room upgraded to a suite with a private pool! The room was perfect, we loved the design and felt very luxurious. From there, our stay just got better and better.

The private beach just past the sand dunes is astonishing. The evening sunsets are out of this world! We loved just relaxing during the day on the Cabanas. It was also lovely to have free use of stand-up paddle boards for some fun in the sea. I went for a run on the beach and the nearby beaches are wonderful too with a windsurfing school and horse riding centre close by if you're into that, but the private beach for OKU is just perfect and quiet.

My fiancée qualified as a yoga teacher 9 months ago, and so we were thrilled to hear of the daily morning yoga sessions put on by the wonderful Mariana. Both the early morning 8am yoga and the 10am yoga on the beach were incredible. Mariana also really helped my fiancée after the classes with more tips and advice for her career. The classes are good for beginners and also intermediate/advanced yogi's, and Mariana even gave us effectively a private yoga class as we were the only two joiners on one of the days!

The breakfast options are amazing, full of fresh produce and possibly the biggest and best croissants we've ever seen! We also have to give a special mention to Dimitra (front of house at breakfast?) who because of us taking the yoga class from 10-11am, gave us a special post-yoga breakfast for several days (free of charge). We asked for croissants and some fruit and she packaged up 3 boxes and sent them down to the beach for us each day. Incredible service and kindness!

The whole hotel vibe is perfect for us. Laidback and casual, yet quality and luxury. Great service, we felt right at home for our 7 night stay and didn't want to leave! I think OKU are opening up more hotels in other locations, so we would love to stay with OKU again!

Disliked · We went for the half board option, and so the only downside of our stay was that there wasn't really any option to substitute any dishes if we did not like them from the half board menu. I would also say we aren't big drinkers of alcohol (so this didn't matter too much to us), but the drinks can be quite expensive if you are. Otherwise, our stay was perfect!

Our experience was disappointing and fell short of our expectations. We had looked forward to visiting this hotel, with intention to also visit Oku Ibiza this summer.

The chefs who serve at breakfast are borderline rude. There is no friendly greeting, just eye contact awaiting your request. You feel like you are an inconvenience when asking for items at the buffet. The serving staff in general are friendly, but I wouldn’t say provide the level of service you need expect at this price point.

When dining at the hotel restaurant in the evenings, the waiting staff are not attentive, you are constantly trying to catch someone’s attention to either order food, ask for a drink and then to sign the bill. Service on the beach, the pool and by the bar is improved and there are 3-4 team members who are very friendly and attentive, but as a whole improvements are required.

The rooms in our opinion are not comfortable enough, in particular the thin mattress and very hard pillows. The room was very clean, however the bath towels had a musty smell which was unpleasant. Following our stay at Oku we spent a few days at Lango Design hotel in Kos. Lango offers a far superior comfort level and service at a similar price point.

We didn’t notice any management overseeing guest experience. Perhaps this is why the service level is not where it should be for a 5 star resort.

A positive note I would make is a member of the reception team who organised delivery from a pharmacy for me. If this level of service was provided as a whole then my review on service would be exceptional.

It is a beautiful place indeed and we have seen many around the globe. The location is well equipped, there is a restaurant, a bar, a fitness a SPA and even a boutique.
The rooms are furnished nicely and if you have a room with a pool, it‘s heavenly especially on a windy day.
The staff is really friendly and the entire vibe is very relaxed.
What is the honest downside? The foodquality is ok, but not on a five star level. We had evenings where the food was good, on other evenings it was just ok.
The rooms are not kept on a five star level either. We had to ask for pool towels almost every day and the terrace floor has never been cleaned during our stay.
Flexibility of the staff: we booked a transfer to reach the hotel, realizing the Taxi is cheaper. We tried to cancel the transfer back to the Airport four days in advance, which would cost us a cancellation fee that is the same as the transfer fee plus Taxi. A joke…
Also we asked for a late check out when we booked, when we arrived and 3 days prior our last day. The receptionist told us we should ask again on the morning of our departure which does not make any sense at all.
All in all: A beautiful place, but not on a five star level in terms of several issues.

Dear Sergio, We are excited to hear that the aesthetic, the location & the vibe of OKU Kos met your expectations. And, of course, our crew is grateful for your compliment. On the other hand, we feel sorry for the inconvenience the Transfer Service & the Late Check-Out Procedure caused you. Just so you know, the transfer service is a bit more expensive than a taxi because of its privileges (pre-booking option, guaranteed to pick up & drop off at the time you desire, luxury vehicles, etc.). We advise our guests to book this service (especially during high season) as we don't want them to wait in a long line for a taxi at the airport once they arrive. However, it's a free option and not mandatorily. Regarding the late check-out procedure, we can know on the last day if you can keep the room longer or not because of the continuously limited availability of our rooms. However, we can promise that our Reservations Department always tries its best to address the needs of our guests. We hope that the memories of most of your stay, which was beautiful as you wrote, will bring you back one day - we are looking forward:) Kind regards, OKU Kos Crew
