沼津で唯一のにごり湯天然温泉旅館です。温泉は1か所(こちらは広い)のみで、男女入替制で、夜のみが女性の時間でした。 男女ののれんがなく、男湯女湯の札を自分でかけるので、入る方がまちがってしまっています。 男性客が「俺、目が悪く札の字が見えないから間違うよ。」と浴室の外でしゃべってる声が聞こえ、入浴中、安心して入ってられなかったです。男女の暖簾をちゃんとかけてほしいです。 つれあいは朝、男の札をかけていたのに、男風呂脱衣場にいたら、女の人が入ってこようとしたと言ってました。 男女の暖簾がかかっておらず、小さい字の札を宿泊者がかけるので、ミスが起こるのだと思います。 私の場合は、酒後はお風呂に入らないため、温泉に行ったのに、結局温泉がある方には入れませんでした。 他の女性のお客さんとお風呂で話をしたら「お風呂の男女入替えが男性中心だわ。」と不満を言ってました。同感です(しかも主に女湯の方は広くない)。 なお、露天風呂は2か所とも無しです。 リンスインシャンプーとボディーソープと石鹸が設置されてます。化粧水などは無しでした。持っていかれる事をお勧めします。 さて、部屋は和室で布団がひかれました。Wi-Fiはロビーのみです。部屋からは沼津の街が見渡せ、遠くに沼津の大型展望水門のびゅうおが見えました。 食事は他のグループとは仕切りがありました。なぜかカレーの匂いがしてきて、合宿の方たちが沢山来ているとの事でした。 駿河湾の新鮮な海の幸との事で予約しました。でも普通の宿の夕食と思いました。全体的にはしっかり食べ切れる量でした。お酒は種類があまりなくて、日本酒の冷酒は一種類のみでした。 朝食は、バランスが良くて、特に鯖の干物が美味しかったです。

翠泉閣は、住宅街の先の山の下あり、宿泊した3階の部屋から、沼津港近くの海が少し見えます。建物は少し古いが、風呂もいい感じの天然風呂です。宴会料理や朝食は、海が近いので、魚貝類が満載で、美味しかったです。二次会も当館で行い、仲居さんたちも明るく日本的なもてなしGOOD。再度利用したいと思います。

施設は古くなっているということで、行く前はあまり期待していなかったが、夕食は、舟盛りを含め、海鮮づくしで満足できるレベルであった。朝食は、海の家にありがちな極普通のメニュー。 湯は茶褐色の含鉄泉で、期待通りであった。

施設は古い、お風呂は狭い、部屋は寒い。だけど、ご飯はおいしかったし、宿の女将や給仕の女性たちは一生懸命頑張っているのが伝わってきます。年末価格でちょっと割高でしたが、ひとり12000円程度なら十分value for moneyと思います。

場所がいまいち観光にもなにするにも不便な住宅地のはずれにある感じで 中途半端でした。 温泉も鉄色の濁り湯でタオルが染まってしまい あまり好きな湯ではなかったです。 建物もあまり新しくなかったです。
