We returned to Casa Carrascal at Christmas, having first visited in May 2016. Once again the hospitality offered by our hosts Sue and Dave Eaton was incomparable. They are most welcoming and enjoy being able to share your holiday with you. The food, cooked by David, was as tasteful as we remembered from our first visit and there is sufficient...

Just back from the NY 2016/2017 walking holiday. I recommend it very highly. It was better than the many other walking holidays I've been on. Extremely efficient and well managed. Wonderful food. Just relax - they've thought of everything. The weather was brilliant too.

For anyone who enjoys exclusivity, fine dining and walking in stunning scenery I would wholeheartedly recommend Casa Carrascal. This boutique hotel caters for smallish groups and guests really can believe it belongs to them during their stay - hence that feeling of exclusivity. The interior is beautiful and has been thoughtfully and sensitively filled with interesting objets d'art and artefacts....

Sue and David at Casa Carrascal were the perfect hosts and provided the perfect package for a walking holiday. The guided walks are varied and challenging with superb scenery, the food is amazing and the 'team spirit' amongst the group added to a great experience. We certainly hope to return.

We have had a fabulous week at Casa Carrascal. Dave and Sue were great leaders and guided us, and engaged in every bit of our holiday. The walks were fairly challenging but Dave and Sue were always there to help and support us. Even on the day free from walking, Dave drove us around and made certain we knew which...

This is our second visit to Casa Carrascal and it did not let us down. David and Sue are the perfect hosts and the new improvements to the hotel are great. Food (of course) is of the highest standard. The walks are brilliant and varied. I particularly enjoyed the walk by the sea which was rounded off by a swim...

I am just back from walking holiday no.2 at Casa Carrascal – another fabulous week of sun, fun, excellent walking, stunning scenery and mouth-watering food, topped off with the delicious paella cooked outside on the hotel terrace on the last night. David and Sue again provided a wonderfully warm welcome, a lot of fun, and real technical expertise and unwavering...

This was an excellent walking holiday. Sue & David really went the extra mile to make sure we had a good time. Casa Carrascal is a charming, old, authentic Spanish house that has been lovingly refurbished to provide a base for our daily walks. Our room was comfortable and spacious with an ensuite shower room. It opened onto a pretty...

This was one of the best trekking holidays we have experienced so far. The Casa Carrascal is a wonderful place to stay with great rooms, marvellous food cooked by David and served by Sue. Before dinner we met on the terrace for drinks with the other guests which created a really nice atmosphere and lots of laughter. David and Sue's...
